Citibank, N.A. seeks an Information Security Technical Lead Analyst for its Fort Lauderdale, Florida location.
Duties: Conduct vulnerability assessments on applications (Web, Mobile, Thick Client, and APIs) by identifying, researching, validating and exploiting known and unknown application security vulnerabilities. Identify security weaknesses and vulnerabilities within the system including application security, network security, computer networks, distributed systems, data structures, systems programming, and database management systems. Perform Application Vulnerability Assessments on Citis and its affiliates web, web services, mobile, and client applications using proxy tools Burp Suite, Echo Mirage and AppScan. Assess risk ratings of security vulnerabilities. Use leads from static analysis tools BlackDuck, Checkmarx to identify and exploit dynamically. Propose and implement countermeasures. Focus on application security testing, mobile security testing on various platforms, threat modeling, source code review, and infrastructure penetration testing. Ethical hacking using commercial and open-source vulnerability assessment tools, OWASP Top 10, CWE/SANS Top 25, Threat Modeling, application architecture, design and functionalities. Use Java, J2EE, C, C++, JSP, Struts, Spring, Hibernate, Servlets, JSF, .NET, Python, HTML, XML, XSL, JavaScript, WebSphere MQ, Unix, HTTP Web Server, Oracle, Eclipse to identify application security vulnerabilities and weaknesses. Validate and verify vulnerabilities with application development team and write formal security assessment reports. Drive remediation by outlining defense-in-depth approach to business stakeholders; provide solutions to developers on effective security controls and countermeasures. Present vulnerability assessment results to stakeholders. Articulate security issues to information security officers, developers and application managers to support remediation of technical issues. Conduct research on new security vulnerabilities and technologies. Document issues in Vulnerability Assessments knowledge base.
Requirements: Requires a Masters degree in IT, Information Security, Information Systems, Applied Computer Science or related field and 3 years of experience as an Application Penetration Tester, Infrastructure Technical Lead Analyst, Software Engineer, Application Software Analyst or related position involving Information Security risk management and IT vulnerability assessments for the financial services industry. Alternatively, will accept a Bachelors degree in the stated fields and 5 years of the specified progressive post-baccalaureate experience. 3 years of experience must include: Penetration testing; Application security, network security, computer networks, distributed systems, data structures, systems programming; Database management systems; Programming in C, C++, Java; Assessing risk ratings of security vulnerabilities; Java, J2EE, C, C++, JSP, Struts, Spring, Hibernate, Servlets, JSF, .Net, Python, HTML, XML, XSL JavaScript, Burp, WebSphere MQ, Unix, HTTP Web Server, Oracle, Eclipse to identify application security vulnerabilities and weaknesses.
