Citicorp Credit Services, Inc. (USA) seeks a Digital S/W Eng Lead Analyst for its Irving, Texas location.
Duties: Develop and modify complex, high volume, and scalable software applications with mobile client and server side components using agile methodology in HTML5, iOS, and Android development environments. Apply knowledge of mobile and web platform development and Kotlin, OOP, Git, Objective C, and Java programming languages and mobile frameworks to design and develop browser and mobile applications software. Lead, design and develop REST backend integration services in order to enable the Web Application & Global Mobile apps to interact with the application services layers. Leverage JSON and REST technologies to develop web services. Drive design and development of backend integration services using REST, SOAP, JSON, & XML digital technologies, conduct a thorough analysis of data models, and define efficient operating designs. Participate in Agile development and the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Utilize Atlassian tools, Source Tree, JIRA, Bitbucket and Kanban for daily user activities. Analyze user needs and provide technical production support. Develop requisite technology solutions for advanced systems issues. Design highly customized web and mobile software applications to optimize operational efficiency. Lead the development of mobile applications, provide technical guidance, and ensure adherence to product roadmaps. Participate in the end-user testing and validation process for newly developed software applications. Support the global implementation of mobile and payment technologies using J2EE and iOS/Android SDK. Collaborate with the Chief Technology Office, Information Security, and internal other support organizations to deliver robust digital products that meet company standards. Conduct design and code review to achieve best quality of software, implement best practices to improve resiliency and highest availability of production environment, and build continuous deployment pipeline by automating tasks in development, testing and deployment processes to accelerate speed to market.
Requirements: Requires a Masters degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or related field and 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Associate, Android Developer, or related position involving software application development. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in the stated fields and 5 years of the specified progressive, post-baccalaureate experience. 3 years of experience must include: Developing complex software systems; OOP, Kotlin, Java & Git; Firebase Cloud Messaging, Analytics, & Crashlytics; Developing and consuming web services, REST, JSON, SOAP, XML, & integration with application service layers; Agile development & SDLC for developing scalable enterprise level software; Reviewing architecture, designs, code changes, and ensuring overall app quality; Memory management, process lifecycle, threads and thread handlers in Android; Designing UI/UX components of Android applications (textview, listview, menus, buttons, dialog boxes, action bars); and Atlassian tools, Source Tree, JIRA, Bitbucket & Kanban.
