Citicorp Credit Services, Inc. (USA) seeks a Digital S/W Eng Lead Analyst for its New York, New York location.
Duties: Develop enterprise grade application code using Java/J2EE. Create and deliver client solutions to support Citis Global Consumer Banking business. Utilize programming skills and tools to translate business cases to efficient code and provide software solutions to business requirements. Develop, enhance, and implement technical components and solutions for existing products and applications using integration patterns, instrumentation and tooling to measure effectiveness and productivity. Build and design systems that may be readily used in a cloud environment using cloud native architecture and microservices. Design data models and schemas and ensure that data systems are efficient and adhere to data governance requirements. Build out APIs using microservices, API Platform Services, Cloud based services, machine learning and continuous integration/ continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools for application development through all stages of application development cycle, including analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation. Build applications interacting with legacy banking and financial mainframe backends. Build applications on Cloud Computing Frameworks (Infrastructure As A Service, Platform As A Service, Function As A Service, Software As A Service). Use automation through all the stages of Software Development. Integrate with third party sites following Open Web Application Security Project Guideline. Review system capabilities, workflow, limitations, and analyze information processing to assess and improve effectiveness of technology infrastructure, and plan and design computer systems. Design and implement new products and services to increase client engagement, reach, and effectiveness. Partner with the agile development engineering team and collaborate with the product management, Development, and Business teams to measure the UI/UX impacts of new applications architecture and user experience and to ensure that business and functional requirements are met. Responsible for on-time delivery of high quality code with low production defect rate. Collaborate with industry vendors that provide technology and user experience design components to strengthen the Global Consumer Banks digital architecture and to implement innovative strategies to improve Citis application development and deployment initiatives. Work with chief system architects to ensure that solutions are highly performant and adhere to Citi's security and compliance standards.
Requirements: Requires a Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Applied Computer Science, Engineering (any), or related field and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Computer Programmer, Software Engineer or related position involving software development. 5 years of experience must include: Java, Javascript, Spring Boot, Spring framework, Spring Data, GIT, J2EE, Spring MVC, Web services, SOAP, REST, JMS, Junit, & Tomcat; Cloud native architecture and microservices; Oracle database system; Database design and modeling, including object relationship mapping, data mapping, & transformation; Service and system integration with third party sites using two-way secured socket layer connections, Open Authorization & JSON; Web services based on Simple Object Access Protocol with JAX-WS Apache Axis, Representational State Transfer protocol; and Developing, enhancing, & maintaining enterprise grade application code with Java/J2EE.
