Position Overview



Solebury Trout is a leading investor relations and corporate communications firm advising senior management teams at companies across a range of industry sectors. As an Investor Relations Analyst with the Life Sciences team, you will be based in our Boston, Massachusetts office. This is a hybrid opportunity, with the expectation to work on-site Tuesday-Thursday (Monday and Fridays from home).

In this role, the Investor Relations Analyst will support an account team by providing high-quality, support to C-level executives and/or their internal IR & Communication departments. Key responsibilities include Supporting the Client Lead on all client needs for dedicated accounts, drafting of press releases, assisting with presentations, coordinating client calls, meetings and researching investor targeting life science fund information for client meetings. This a client-facing role, with the opportunity to readily organize, participate-in and lead follow-up actions for investor calls and conferences.

Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree required. (BS/BA in Finance, Life Sciences, Medicine, Biology or a related field is a plus)
Prior applicable experience (2+ years work or internship) or related consulting experience
Detail oriented, highly organized, and able to multi-task efficiently in a dynamic team environment
Dedication to accuracy, deadlines, and high-quality work; high ethical and professional standards
Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, HTML (website programming languages)
Keen interest in healthcare and/or equity markets is a plus
Ability to work well in a fast paced team environment
Proactive self-starter who takes initiative, while being a resourceful problem solver



Job Description



  • Works with the senior advisory team to assist CEOs, CFOs and Investor Relations Officers to manage their relationships with investors and research analysts. Collaborates with the team to prepare presentations for business development meetings with prospective clients.

  • Assists in development and maintenance of client Investor Relations strategies, plans, and activities. Analyzes client and peer trading technicals, shareholder base composition, and Wall Street sponsorship. Organizes collected information and results to assist in developing content for quarterly financial results.

  • Manages the investor relations portion of client's web sites and creates presentations and other communication materials as needed. Organizes logistics for investor conferences, non deal road shows, earnings calls, and investor meetings. Monitors and summarizes research analyst reports for senior management, and competitive analysis for clients.

  • Develops and maintains comprehensive buy-side database and investor call log and email distribution list.

  • Researchs prospective clients and industries and develops presentations for business development meetings. Responds to investor and research analyst inquiries.

Work Experience



Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 2+ years of relevant professional experience. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
