GE HVDC has an exciting opportunity to grow in support of the offshore renewables and HVDC interconnector market. In the role of Process Improvement Lead Engineer, you will lead the process improvement activities for HVDC Controls System activities.

**Essential Responsibilities**



Defining, documenting and training users on the Software Build process First level support, documentation, enforcement and training users on Build tooling First level support, documentation and maintenance of Build environment Build delivery - enforcing the Build processes and use of the Build Tooling Enforcing and communicating the software Release Management/Gate control process Excellent issue analysis and investigation skills Ability to communicate technical and process issues and concepts to multiple users of all levels of experience, from junior developer to senior management. Ability to negotiate with multiple 3rd party areas (STAMP, Build GE, GE AWS, GE Security, licence server owners) Ability to prioritise workload based on multiple project demands. Ability to balance demands to deliver projects against need to meet GE quality requirements. Ability to review and improve existing processes where necessary. Competent to govern and lead the Software Release Process/ Quality Gate Reviews Setup and configure project environment (Jira / Confluences/SVN/GitHub)

+ AWS defining images, stop/start of them

+ ServiceNow

+ Scripting languages including (but not restricted to):

+ Perl

+ DOS batch scripts

+ rexx



**People Skills/Qualification:**



+ Bachelors degree with several year of experience in product development / Software development industry.



+ Attention to detail

+ Excellent oral and written skills
