Are you a dedicated sales professional looking for a new challenge, with a passion for training?This is an exciting opportunity to join the Patient Monitoring (PM) business.ThePatient Monitoring Learning Designeris responsible for developing, creating and organizing content for sales and clinical representatives who sell the Patient Monitoring portfolio to our customers. The incumbent will work closely with Patient Monitoring leaders from Sales Training Development, Field Sales and the Global Sales Training and Development Team. In alignment with strategic priorities and working directly with these key stakeholders, this individual will oversee the design of Patient Monitoring clinical, procedural, and technical collateral. The Patient Monitoring division strives to enable earlier diagnosis, better treatment, faster complication-free recovery, and enhanced patient outcomes through leveraging our industry leading monitoring portfolio. **A Day in the Life**


+ Serve as the house content creator producing high quality, time sensitive content packages comprised of written material, video, social, digital, infographic and/or creative vehicles to tell relevant stories to internal/external audiences.

+ Monitors trending news stories and key audience discussions, events, memes and other popular contne tto find opportunities to position Medtronic favorably and in support of business objectives.

+ Defines content needs, targeted audiences, timing and calendars and content strategies to shape stakeholder perception and drive business results.

+ Execute on the creation and deployment of operating unit initiatives to advance the commercial capabilities of sales representatives within the Patient Monitoring portfolio.

+ Create computer-based training modules, storyboards and support materials for the Patient Monitoring portfolio for both New Hires and current sales representatives using multiple mediums.

+ Writing, editing and structuring instructional content in a way that bolsters engagement and retention using tested instructional design theories and methods.

+ Apply creative thought and processes to the content creation continuum.

+ Continually evaluate and improve all facets of the sales training process and design, develop and implement learning collateral that build commercial capability.

+ Align with product marketing teams to support collateral and training material for existing portfolio, as well as new product launches to meet strategic goals, including new sales channels.

+ Partner with Medical Affairs in the development and deployment of compliant clinical educational training mediums for sales.

+ Collaborate and build strong relationships across the Matrix with Marketing/ Health Informatics/RD/Med Affairs/Engineering/Commercial Operations.

+ Ensure all training modules are up-to-date and properly reflect selling philosophy and commercial needs.

+ Work within a global structure in order to standardize training content creation and design across the global organization.

+ Able to handle multiple, complex tasks, prioritize, organize and meet deadlines.

+ Excellent communication, educational design, and creative content creation skills.

**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**


+ Bachelors degree required

+ Minimum of 2 years of experience in instructional design

+ Experience as a Learning Designer, Curriculum Developer, or Instructional Designer

+ Training experience and an understanding of adult learning principles


**Nice to Have**


+ Preferred degree ininstructional design, educational technology, research, education, or educational philosophy

+ Experience with content creation mediums (Articulate, Rise, StoryBoard)

+ Basic HTML and Flash programming knowledge

+ Visual design program skills (Photoshop, Illustrator)

+ Previous sales experience

+ Previous clinical knowledge

+ In-depth knowledge of the field sales organization, structure, processes and culture

+ Self-motivator who can apply innovative thinking to define solutions to business problems and is solution oriented

+ A creative mentality who thrives in a fast-paced environment
