THK Rhythm is looking for a Level 2 Maintenance Tech for 2nd or 3rd shift that will need to train on 1st shift.
POSITION SUMMARY
Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structure, and piping. Troubleshoots and repairs lower case electrical system by performing the following duties:
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Study blueprints, sketches, machine parts or specifications to determine defective items and repairs needed.
Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment to detect or prevent wear, misalignment, or other problems.
Listen for unusual sounds from machinery or equipment and detect malfunction.
Discuss machine operation with technicians, supervisors, or other maintenance workers to diagnose problems with and repair machinery or equipment.
Realign and adjust equipment and components.
Dismantle defective parts from machinery or equipment and install new or repaired parts.
Layout assembles, install, and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
Repair and/or replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
Repair and maintain physical structure of establishment.
Operate cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
Obey and communicate to others all rules and regulations regarding safety and company policy.
Support production and perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor or other management.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance manuals, and procedure manuals.
Ability to apply concepts of basic mathematics including algebra and geometry.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.
Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
The technician is required, as a minimum, to have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance manuals, and procedure manuals.
Ability to apply concepts of basic mathematics including algebra and geometry.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.
Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

The employee is required to input data using a computer keyboard, calculator adding machine, and telephone key pad for six to eight hours.
