A true partner within the business, our IT team works globally as one cohesive unit comprised of collaborative professionals who take pride in support and customer service. Core areas include solutions delivery and application development, network operations, workforce services and information services/knowledge management.

Function:

Manage the Level 3 IT Technical desktop engineering services to all employees in supported Kroll Offices. Additionally, provide assistance to the business by doing occasional site visits to new company acquisitions for the purpose of IT data collection.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Solid understanding of Microsoft SCCM and Intune environments

  • Ensure a standard up to date desktop image

  • Ensure all Windows, Security and Driver updates are regularly applied to desktops

  • Oversee QA testing of all new laptop\\desktop hardware

  • Oversee the evaluation, testing, and deploying all client facing applications

  • Manage and maintain Active Directory / Azure Active Directory Users, Computers, and Objects

  • Maintain high level of knowledge and expertise in core enterprise environments: Active Directory, SCCM, Windows Update for Business, Windows Servers, Windows Update methodologies, Endpoint Security

  • Assist in managing and resolving tickets in Level 3 supportqueue

  • Assist with management and deployment of desktop security software

  • Assist with management of group policy and logon scripts

  • Working knowledge or Microsoft 365 suite of products

  • Basic knowledge of various other IT practices (networking, servers, voice, email)

  • Traveling to regional offices will be required

  • Other duties as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong technical knowledge on all supported application & hardware

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills; oral and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability in independent functioning

  • Ability to accomplish tasks without supervision

  • Must possess a positive and professional attitude

  • Experience working with virtual / remote staff members

  • Excellent project management skills

  • Ability to take initiative and lead projects


EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

University education is required. Ability to communicate and to interact effectively with co-workers and customers is required. Working knowledge of personal computer and software applications used in job functions is a must.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Microsoft certifications a plus

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets professional journals and technical procedures. Ability to communicate orally and through written, via weekly reports.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to define and solve IT problems, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and close tickets.

Process Improvement: Identifies processes for improvement in daily work; educates new staff in team process.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years' experience supporting desktop services in an enterprise environment

  • Experience developing \\ implementing standards, processes, and procedures

  • Experience imaging and supporting Windows desktop operating systems

  • Experience with quality assurance of PC images and software deployments

  • Experience with desktop management tools and concepts

  • Experience working with software deployment and inventory systems

  • Experience working with HP (Wintel based) desktop hardware

  • Experience working with Microsoft operating systems and applications

  • Experience working with Windows Server and related technologies

  • Experience working with MS Office 365 configuration and applications

  • Experience working with Active directory in a multi-domain forest a plus

  • Experience with email and mobile device management

  • Experience working both independently or as part of a project group

  • Experience working flexible hours and on call 365x24x7

CONTINUING EDUCATION:

Working knowledge of personal computer and software applications used in job functions
