Job Description:
GDIT is looking for an entry level Software Developer to build/support applications serving critical missions of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).
Candidate should have foundational software development skills with Microsoft .NET languages (primarily ASP.NET, C#, and LINQ) and Visual Studio 2010. Desired skills include: MVC, Entity Framework, Unity, Team Foundation Server, ReSharper, SharePoint, NHibernate, jQuery and JavaScript, AJAX, HTML and CSS, Oracle and SQL Server databases, T4 templates, Classic ASP
Requirements:
C# development experience.
Java Script development experience.
development experience with Cascading System Sheets (CSS).
Experience with relational data models and SQL.
Experience with XML and programming libraries for XML manipulation.
Familiar with Agile software development principles and basic practices (e.g. Scrum)
Experience in packaging and delivering software and documentation to a production environment.
Excellent communication skills.
Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an active Secret clearance (interim is acceptable).
Applicants selected will be subject to a Government security background investigation and must meet eligibility and DEA suitability requirements.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in related field or 5+ years of programming experience with increasing levels of responsibility and expertise.
1+ years of development experience with ASP.NET MVC based web development using Visual Studio
1+ years of experience with Agile development
