**Position Summary**
Following established written procedures, guidelines and techniques, develops, enhances, tests, supports, maintains, and debugs software applications that support business units or support functions. Individual contributor role; fully competent to work under general direction on the most complex projects, often on multiple phases, and seeks guidance and direction from more senior associates or manager, as needed. Working knowledge of business or function for which application is designed. Often responsible for the completion of a phase of a project. Typically requires 5-8 years of applicable experience.
**Responsibilities:**
Managing Unix OS and Hardware comprised of various Operating Systems loaded. Should able to handle the Production Changes with necessary stake holders involved. Knowledge on the Change Management process.
Conduct new product research in network tools engineering team related to capacity, performance, fault and/or configuration management.
Ensure that current and new tools globally covers all environments.
Write test plans, execute tests and document results in Network tools and Engineering space.
Interact with users and stakeholders to build requirements and deliver working solutions.
Handle tools escalations. Onboard new tools through PTO process.
Participate in the configuration management process, which entails reviewing and approving baseline configuration changes, maintaining and developing new configuration compliance validations, insuring 100% device configuration validation coverage, and auditing all Network Configuration Items to insure adherence to configuration compliance validation requirements.
Certify new product models/version and obtain their approval for use at the bank from all governance processes Assist with Audit deliverables for Network Toolset Work with Vendors to enhance their respective tools to meet new customer/security requirements
Refresh/Upgrade existing toolset as it becomes EOL/EOS or Not-Permitted within the bank.
Develop integrations for the various Network Tools
Lead Disaster Recovery exercises for various Network Tools Provide L3 Support for Network Toolset
**Required Skills:**
+ Strong Knowledge in the areas of Fault Monitoring, Capacity Management, Configuration Management, and Performance Management within the Network Infrastructure area.

**Jersey City pay range:**
$94,100 - $155,200
annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
