We are seeking a talented front-end software engineer to help develop web applications. In particular they will be involved with developing the following:




  • Develop UI components, views, an infrastructure for portfolio management and research applications



  • Develop front-end components that can support numerically intensive web apps



  • Develop interactive visualizations web tools for diverse data conditions



  • Develop web components that are able to integrate both static and streaming data algorithms, and large financial data sets is desirable. The Individual should be able to take responsibility for the overall planning, execution and success of complex technical projects.







Qualifications:




  • BS in Computer Science/Engineering



  • At least 5 years of experience in UI development



  • At least 2 years of experience with Agile practices



  • Experience with web application front-end development



  • Experience with React.js or similar client-side frameworks



  • Experience with REST APIs and REST clients



  • Experience with Git for version control



  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript







Preferred Qualifications:




  • Experience with Node.js and NPM



  • Experience with WebSockets



  • Experience with Typescript



  • Experience with Material UI



  • Experience with UI/UX design



  • Experience with front-end visualization libraries



  • Experience with micro-frontend architecture



  • Masters in Computer Science
