**Description** The Principal Cloud Architect (EIP) translates business needs into technical security strategies, systems solutions and security architectural roadmaps for various cloud provider environments. The Principal Cloud Architect provides strategic advice and guidance to functional team(s). Highly skilled with broad, advanced cloud security experience in all areas of various security domains. **Responsibilities** The Principal Cloud Security Architect will play a key role in influencing Humana's Technology Strategy as well as providing tactical architecture direction to ensure the enterprise can achieve the cloud security strategy. The Principal Cloud Security Architect will work with stakeholders and industry experts to understand and build an alignment on the various architectural technology standards. This role serves as a thought leader to challenge/influence all levels across the organization to rethink routine, embrace new best practices, and drive adoption of technology standards. This role will also apply enterprise security architecture governance over solutions that provide technical capabilities. **Responsibilities** + Work with various stakeholders to build an enterprise alignment around cloud security strategy, standards, roadmaps, and terminology + Facilitate the creation of clear, concise, and easy to access technology standards to provide engineering teams with tactical direction for achieving the enterprise security strategy. Clearly communicate and evangelize the value associated with adhering to the security strategy and corresponding standards. + Create visibility and build awareness of the gap between current state security implementation versus future state architecture and advocate for gaps to be filled. + Ensure seamless governance is applied to various engineering teams who are building technical capabilities. This work includes ensuring engineering teams understand the cloud security architecture standards to which they must adhere, guiding engineering teams through the Technology Review Board and Architecture Review Board processes and participating in technology evaluations. **Key Candidate Qualifications** + Comprehensive experience with Azure, GCP and AWS cloud providers and their capabilities + Strategic thinking abilities and an enterprise-wide perspective + Experience providing guidance and defining strategy for how companies should deal with cloud security + Experience in developing reference models using frameworks like TOGAF and SABSA. + Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Computer Science or related relevant experience + 5+ years of experience architecting cloud solutions in Azure, GCP or AWS + Ability to partner within and across teams to gain consensus and enable change + Ability to influence stakeholders + Ability to drive tasks to completion + Strong communication skills for creating and sharing presentations to multiple levels of audiences of stakeholders - i.e. senior executives in business and IT, architects, developers, etc. **Preferred Qualifications** + Negotiation and mediation skills + Healthcare experience + Master's degree **Additional Information** We will requirefull COVID vaccination for this job as we are ahealthcarecompany committed to putting health and safety first for our members, patients, associates, and the communities we serve. + If progressed to offer, you will be required to provide proof of full vaccination where allowed by law. + Medical and religious exemptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis. **Scheduled Weekly Hours** 40 <>
