**Principal Software Engineer**

**What youll achieve**
As a Principal Software Engineer, you will develop, revise and maintain test plans, test cases and automated test scripts that include resource requirements, schedule assumptions and scope based on pre-determined product requirements.You will work withProduct Development and the Customer Support teams to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction. You will collaborate to develop comprehensive test plans across Dells product portfolio. You will also have the opportunity to drive continual process improvements for the evolution of testing procedures and their future replication. This role is based in Bangalore but will service and lead efforts all across the globe. This includes but not limited to test automation strategy, approach, tools enablement, and test scripting for the functional, system, and user level of testing
**You will:**
Develop significant new test methods and tools for testing of new hardware and solutions products
Work with designers and technologists to develop automation and test tools for future technologies
Developing Test and Automation strategy for given requirements.
Ability to define, architect and develop automation framework.
Author and present to leadership innovative test process and methodology improvements from an end-to-end test perspective
Develop new and re-evaluate existing test methodologies and processes
Provide requirements and specifications for the automation of test cases

**Essential Requirements**
8+ years of related automation leadership and Bachelors degree or equivalent in a computer related field (CSE/ECE)
Automation of RESTful APIs & K8's or Docker container technology
Test Automation frameworks and advanced knowledge of automated testing tools and procedures
Experience with creating and working with automation frameworks using Robot, pytest, TestNg, Junit. Java, Python
Must have of background working on automation development using any programming language preferably python and/or Java
Linux/Unix OS platforms
**Desirable Requirements**
Domain knowledge of the cloud based microservices is a big plus
File system, storage system, S3, distributed system is a plus
