OurBusiness Process Analystfor SDLC (Solutions Delivery Life Cycle) is responsible forperforming the business analysis function within the SDLC process.The primary responsibilities include elicitation,identificationand documentation of changing business needs and process improvements, including defining and shaping standard enterprise delivery governance and business rules. This role will support the ESD Portfolio Standards Delivery Methodology frameworks (Agile, Lean Six Sigma, Kanban & Hybrid/Waterfall) to leverage across the teams.Guardian has established an Enterprise Solution Delivery (ESD) organization to drive measurable, consistent, predictable portfolio delivery to accelerate and optimize value-add solutions for Guardians customers.In order todrive these outcomes, Guardian is seeking a multidimensionalindividual experienced with the following:Requirement elicitation and analysis, testing, Agile story writing,Process improvement, SDLC governance operations and enterprise transformation.

You Will

  • Actively identify internal and external leading practices and recommend best practices for the SDLC governance processes.

  • Define enterprise SDLC framework /governance and business rules.

  • Define, evolve, and align delivery frameworks (e.g., Kanban, Scrum, Six Sigma, Hybrid etc.) within SDLC processes

  • Identify and establish internal and external stakeholder relationships to accomplish SDLC governance objectives.

  • Lead the definition and delivery of SDLC improvement recommendations through the application of Lean Six Sigma and project management tools.

  • LeadSDLC idea explorationandrequirement elicitation while servingas a liaison tokey stakeholders identifying, evaluating, and developing processes and procedures that are cost effective and facilitate seamless customer experience.

  • Research current governance trends and best practices. Promote best practices and the development of process improvements.

  • Develop and continuously improve governance metrics that provide key stakeholder visibility and transparency, including designing, testing, and implementing dashboards and reports that provide leadership insights into progress and process health

  • Work collaboratively with business areas in planning and conducting the analysis of process pain points to be solved to enhance and/or gain operational efficiencies.

  • Approaches process analysis strategically, looking for the leap forward opportunities to add value to the business.

  • Organize and synthesize process ideas into detailed functional requirements.Work closely with business partners to translate conceptual ideas into tactical plans designed around business requirements and value-added solutions.

  • Effective negotiation skills able to influence decisions and is a strong change agent.

  • Complete data mining of both internal and external data sources and then identify,analyzeand interpret trends or patterns in complex data. Transform analyses into concrete, actionable recommendations to support the strategicplan.

  • Validatethose new solutions (people, process, and technology)meets business objectives using quantitative and qualitative data.

  • Provide training, mentoring and guidance to others in the business in the use of Continuous Improvement tools.

  • Develop, maintain, and ensure adherence to corporate standards,policiesand procedures.

  • Extensive experience working on cross-functional process improvement projects, preferably in an analytical role such as data analyst, business analyst, operational excellence, process improvement.

  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of Guardian in both oral and written.

Your Qualifications

You Have

  • Business Analysis Certification (CAP, CBAP, AAC or other IIBA Certification)or equivalent work experience.

  • Extensive knowledge of Agile values, principles, and mindset along with other common methodologies (i.e. Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, Hybrid).

  • Strong technical acumen and system thinking

  • Highly proficient using Confluence, ServiceNow, JIRA, SharePoint, and other software for project and task management.

  • An ability to articulate and clearly communicate complex problems and solutions in a simple and logical manner.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize,analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with high attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Demonstrated track record in effectiverequirement elicitation andanalysis.

  • Self-driven withstrong organizational skills and ability to effectively prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

  • Extensive experienceworking on cross-functional process improvement projects, preferably in an analytical role such as data analyst, business analyst, operational excellence, process improvement.

  • Expertknowledge and experienceprocess mapping and value stream mapping.

  • Critical thinking skills, ability to define problems, establish facts and draw conclusions.

  • Proficiency with all Microsoft Officeapplications

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • Experience preparing,summarizingand presenting information andrecommendations.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with individuals across the organization.

  • Capacity to think strategically and innovatively.

  • Process Improvement methodology experience preferred (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen, SAFe, etc.).

  • An ability to articulate and clearly communicate complex problems and solutions in a simple and logical manner.

  • Experience in implementing and maintaining key performance measures related to complex enterprise processes.

  • Excellent problem-solving analytical capabilities with strong attention to detail.

  • Demonstrated track record in effective process/procedure coaching and project management, including strong organizational skills, with demonstrated ability for both tactical execution and strategic thinking.

  • Domain experience in insurance and / or financial industries would be a plus.

Location & Vaccination Requirements

  • The primary location for this position is remote, with a work arrangement of on-campus

  • Covid 19 vaccinations required for this position.

  • This position canbe located inany of our Guardian offices in the continental United States or can be remote/work fromhome
