**Job Purpose:**


The Citi Global Wealth and Investment Technology Group (CGW) is seeking a Technical Team Lead to oversee the Development of several key modules of its portfolio management and trading platforms. The position involves overseeing global application teams and responsible for developing process automation, trading capabilities, as well as driving the technology strategy and solutions for these functions. Global application teams are in US, Singapore, and India. This is a critical role providing balance between strategy development and hands-on technical leadership and people management.


- Lead multiple complex projects independently


- Provide technical oversight to all programs and projects within the portfolio


- Interact with Senior Management to articulate project status, develop a roadmap for future business success and regularly report on key milestones


- Provide direction on technical implementation details and architecture


- Ensure adherence to and develop best practices supporting Citis engineering and SDLC related efforts

The application is currently built using Java and HTML5 and available on various custom and leading vendor portfolio management and trading platform


**Key Responsibilities:**


The Team Lead is responsible for leading a team of Developers in the delivery of multi-channel technology solutions for our clients and internal users:


- Lead up to 2 or more scrum teams in building and delivering software within an Agile environment


- Ensure that the software delivery team strives for end-to-end test automation and utilizes a CI/CD continuous integration and continuous delivery pipeline to deliver software


- Analyze and design solutions to execute on a client-defined product backlog


- Ensure that applications can be continuously released with high levels of confidence while also improving the scalability, reliability; quality and performance of the Continuous Delivery/DevOps build systems


- Develop and implement software delivery standards, policies, and procedures in collaboration with client teams to prioritize shipping Minimal Viable Products


- Work with developers as a mentor in answering their questions to technical impediments and provide alternative solutions by evaluating the risk/impact


- Drive the architecture road map solution


- Collaborate across teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues

**Knowledge/Experience:**


Recommended Knowledge in the following areas:


- Various JavaScript Technologies such as Angular js, Node js, HTML 5, CSS 3


- Server-side Technology such as Core Java and Web Services/Micro Services


- Database Side Technology such as Oracle and Big Data technology will be an add-on


- Messaging Worked on messaging layer such as JMS, EMS and Kafka


- Caching Tool Worked on Memory Caching such as Gemfire


- Continuous Integration Tool Working experience on Jenkins, Team City, uDeploy


- Knowledge of Automated Unit Test Tools Karma, Jasmine, Protractor, Junit is a plus


- Development of robust re-usable Services and components


- Experience working with Charles River IMS is a plus


**Required Skills:**


- Knowledge of IT Governance, architecture, program management, and software development life cycle


- Excellent analytical ability to understand complex and diverse issue, identify root cause and recommend solutions


- Ability to partner effectively with the various technology and business partners


- Experience in managing implementations in a constantly changing environment with multiple partners.


- Excellent written, verbal communication, and business partnership skills


**Qualifications:**


- The successful candidate must have 6+ years of IT experience in Financial/Wealth Management Sector


- Experience building a team, evaluating, developing, attracting, and retaining talent


- Experience managing virtual teams


- Bachelors degree in IT or related discipline. Masters degree preferred
