As a Data Analytics & Business Systems Summer Intern, you will join Prudentials Global Technology team who is the spark that ignites the power of Prudential for our customers and employees worldwide. The summer internship experience offers the feel of working in an exciting ground-breaking environment while still being exposed to the broader Prudential network and financial services industry. You will be encouraged to expand your skills, test creative boundaries, share new ideas, and most importantly - have fun while learning and making an impact!
Timeline:
The internship program will run from Monday, June 5, 2023, to Friday, August 11, 2023.

Your Day to Day:
We aim to attract and develop the next generation of business and technology leaders at Prudential. Data analytics and business systems are critical to obtain results and improve operations. Your role goes beyond the numbers and translates data into strategic storytelling that can drive impact and change. You will work side-by-side with dedicated people, receive significant exposure to senior leadership, participate in targeted trainings, all while gaining hands-on experience in an area of Global Technology. Your summer experience day to day could include:
Identifying solutions to complex business problems by capturing, analyzing, and documenting business and systems requirements to enhance operational performance
Gaining exposure to external research, business systems and data tools that will help you further develop your career and analytical abilities including Microsoft Office Suite, SQL, R, SAS, Hadoop, Informatica, ETL, API development and microservices
Managing information systems, building data foundations, understanding regression trends and performing data segmentation
All in all, you will be empowered to give back in a significant way, add new value to organization initiatives and affect change!
Required Qualifications:
Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited bachelors program graduating between December 2023 and May 2025.
Preferred majors include Business Administration, Business and Information Systems, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Management Information Systems and Statistics; And we welcome all other business or technical areas of study to apply!

Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, R, Power BI, Python, AWS, Text Mining Tools, Tableau, SQL Server preferred
Strong PC skills (MS Office suite including MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Outlook)
High curiosity, willingness to learn and an intuition for business
