Infosys is seeking a Lead QE Engineer. This position you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty; be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.

Required Qualifications:
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Austin, TX or Sunnyvale, CA or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US.
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
Experience with Programming Language- Java, API Test automation

Preferred Qualifications:
At least 4 years of hands-on coding experience with Programming Language- Java, API Test automation
At least 4 years of hands-on coding experience in Core Java and standard test tools, eg- junit, TestNG, Rest Assure, Automation of Restful Web Services
At least 1 years of hands-on coding experience in one or more Unix scripting languages like Shell scripting, Python.
At least 2 years of experience in using any of the integration tools like Jenkins, Maven and Source code controls like GitHub.
Minimum 1 years experience in UI Automation Selenium Web driver, Protractor etc.
Should have knowledge of test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases and debugging.
Ability to develop test data sets to simulate production application environment.
Knowledge of Unix/Linux environments
Communication and Analytical skills
Experience in e-commerce or retail domain is a PLUS
Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
