Infosys- Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) - SRE, Python, Linux, Kubernetes. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty; be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.

Required Qualifications
This position is currently remote/ anywhere in US, open to work remotely in Pacific Time zone (PST). This position may require occasional travel.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or foreign equivalent required
At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology

Preferred Qualification
At least 5 years experience in supporting Site Reliability, Infrastructure and Handling On call
At least 3 years of experience with large scale applications, computer systems, and networks
At least 3 years of experience on Linux preferably RHEL at system and networking level and should be proficient in troubleshooting issues
At least 3 years of intermediate to advance level programming skills in Python or Bash
At least 2 years of experience of working on container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes
Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking e.g. HTTPS, DNS,CDN, Load Balancing, LAMP technologies
Hands-on experience in debugging and supporting web applications like NodeJS, Vertex, Jetty, etc.
Hands-on experience with build and deploy technologies such Maven/Gradle, screwdriver, Jenkins, NPMs etc.
Experience with building CI/CD pipelines using Ansible, Chef, Screwdriver is a plus
Experience with public cloud offerings like AWS, GCP, Azure is a plus
Experience in HAProxy / ATS / Edge Technologies is a plus
Experience in supporting cloud-based virtualization and platforms, big data technologies is a plus
Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
Good Troubleshooting, Analytical, Communication and Client Interfacing skills
Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
