Restructuring Bankruptcy Associate (Mid-Level)

The Boston office of Greenberg Traurig is seeking a junior-to-mid-level Restructuring and Bankruptcy Associate for our premier distressed high yield bond workout (DIHYBOW) practice. The DIHYBOW team is nationally recognized with attorneys in multiple offices around the country including Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Minnesota, Orlando, New York, Tallahassee and Salt Lake. The Boston team has a dynamic and continually growing practice. Applicants should have at least 2-4 years of general bankruptcy experience, preferably representing secured lenders. The ideal candidate will have experience in the high-yield tax-exempt debt market, and experience appearing in bankruptcy and/or receivership courts. Candidates can expect to interact with ad hoc bondholder groups and bond trustees in a variety of distressed situations across many market sectors throughout the country. Some travel may be necessary. This is an immediate need. Interested candidates should submit their resume and J.D. transcript online through the GT website.
