Schneider Electric is seeking a motivated individual for a full-time in-person 6-month co-op with our Industrialization Team in Cedar Rapids, IA (required). This candidates would provide support of process development and testing in the Schneider Electric Energy Management, Home and Distribution division. The qualified candidate will be working closely with specialists to support full and semi-automated assembly processes for new product introduction with a systematic approached to qualification and transfer to operations. The position is located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa (required/only) and reports to Industrialization Manager in Raleigh, North Carolina.

W hat do you get to do in this position?

• Develop custom electrical designs in AutoCAD Electrical

• Program sequencing for test programs and GUI using LabVIEW

• Investigate instrumentation capabilities and cost comparisons

• Work with a collaborative and innovative team who want to develop new talent

T his job might be for you if:

• Are located in/near Cedar Rapids, Iowa (required)

• Student pursuing a degree in the following:

  • Electrical Engineering graduating after December 2022

  • An electrical engineer who enjoys a hands-on environment is ideal

Desired Technical Experience:

• MATLAB

• LabVIEW

• AutoCAD

• Microsoft Office

• Experience with lab instruments (oscilloscope, digital multimeter)
