Job Description


Citis TLV Innovation Center is looking for a software engineer to join our Real-Time Intelligence group and build the next-generation no-code big Data & Analytics platform.


We leverage Citis cloud compute and storage technologies to build a secure and scalable platform., and we reliably handle data in high volume and velocity.


As an Sr. engineer here, you will be part of a team of excellent engineers to build, scale, monitor, and optimize key services for Citis financial operation.


The innovation lab provides the environment to collaborate with business, product and tech leads in multiple fields including collaborations with our peer AI and blockchain technologies groups, and to excel in solving complex problems on behalf of our clients.

Key Job responsibilities:


+ Own design and implementation of platforms infrastructure and features.

+ Design and implementation of a system that can handle real-time volumes reaching hundreds millions of messages per day.

+ Drive engineering & operational excellence and best practices.

+ Collaborate with tech, product, program and business peers to deliver customer value and drive product vision.

+ Mentor junior engineers and support hiring activities.

+ Be a part of a new microservices redesign and building the next platform generation.


Experience & Qualifications


+ Academic degree in Computer Science or equivalent

+ 2+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scale) of new and current systems

+ 4+ years of programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java or C# including object-oriented design

+ Experience with Java.

+ Excellent communication skills.

+ Experience in Spring a big advantage

+ Experience with distributed environments an advantage

+ Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB an advantage

+ Experience with Docker and K8S an advantage

+ Experience with Big Data frameworks Apache Spark, Apache Beam, Apache flink and similar an advantage

+ Experience building RESTful APIs an advantage

+ Experience with micro-services architecture - an advantage.

+ Project Management experience with agile development methodology an advantage
