Data and Analytics, the advanced analytical division of Equifax, offers state of the art solutions to current and emerging business challenges. Through our data analytics, customer insights, modeling, and consulting services, we deliver the analytics and insights companies need to enhance their business. In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging statistical and analytical projects to develop product prototypes, testing new modeling techniques, insights on existing Equifax assets, M&A due diligence, assessment of new data assets, and product enablement. You will have the opportunity to work using cutting edge cloud technology and advanced statistical techniques.This role will be based out of either our Atlanta/Alpharetta, GA office. What you'll do
Lead technical data scientist for multiple technical and business domains
Lead the analytical strategy on critical technical capability for company solutions
Manages and leads program of solutions that generate significant BU/COE revenue
Architect of innovative solution components leveraging business and technical expertise
Lead data scientist across multiple technical domains
Designs code and solutions that improves productivity to team or department
Contributes to evaluation of external data sources and data science capabilities providing due diligence recommendations
Evaluates the technical work of experienced data scientists guiding them on deliverable quality and accuracy
Communicates results to senior management and external stakeholders, able to communicate the strategic impact of the work
What experience you need
Master's degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or other related discipline
8+ years of relevant experience (Data science, Decision Science, Data engineering, Credit Ri)
3+ years of experience ID & Fraud experience or Authentication or Banking experience (Fraud Risk)
1-3 years of Leadership/Team management experience
Experience working with ID & fraud Vendors Fraud Platforms
Experience working with Hadoop based or Cloud based big data management environment
Experience with Big data queries in Hive/Impala/Pig/BigQuery (Sufficient in BigQuery API libraries to data prep automation is a plus)
Advanced Python programming including PySpark (Scala is a plus) with strong coding experience and Proficient in data studio, Big Table, GitHub working experience (Cloud composer and Data flow is a plus)
What could set you apart
Knowledge in machine learning (ensemble machine learning models, unsupervised machine learning models) with experience using Tensorflow and PyTorch is a plus
Knowledge in graph mining and graph data model is a plus
Knowledge of optimization and design of experiments techniques a plus
Knowledge of demographic, credit bureau and alternative data is a plus
Experience in PMML is a plus
Experience building solutions, knowledge of alternative methodologies is a plus
Experience with R, WPS and other statistical packages is a plus
