Role and Responsibilities
Senior Manager, eCommerce
Reporting Location Options:
- Ridgefield Park, NJ (hybrid schedule - 3 days per week in office/ 2 days work from home
- Remote with monthly travel required to NJ as needed for meetings with HQ team
Roles and Responsibilities:
P&L responsibility for the sales thru Samsung.com
Plans and manages marketing initiatives and promotions to drive the growth of online business thru Samsung.com
Closely collaborates with the Samsung.com team to measure the key metrics (e.g., revenue, profit, Conv%, ROI, etc.) for the promotions.
Monitors forecast-to-actuals, future forecasts and works with the Samsung.com team to optimize the promotions based on available inventory.
Develop and present the DAs online sales strategy to the leadership.
Collaborate with the retail.com sales team to transfer best practices from Samsung.com, and track DAs online sales for all channels.
Lead the charge of ensuring consistent execution of online promotions across channels.
Closely work with the Product Marketing leaders to support and complement their category level growth initiatives.
Work cross-functionally with Integrated Marketing to ensure marketing activities and supportive creative are aligned with core messaging and key visuals, and partnering with DA GBM .com team to ensure Samsung Electronics America is best-in-class .com execution.
Develop and optimize online promotions through data and insights; willingness to test, learn, and iterate with focus on maximizing Return on Investment (ROI).
Connect monthly with the Senior Vice President of division to provide updates on .com strategy, programs, and other updates.
Skills and Qualifications
Necessary Skills / Attributes:
8+ years of product marketing experience is required, with eCommerce and Digital experience a plus
Excellent analytical problem solving and decision-making skills
Self-motivated, goals oriented, independent individual who can accomplish personal and business goals within established time frames
Proven experience of successfully managing ambiguity
Deep knowledge of digital path to purchase and performance marketing channels
Proactive and strong project and time management skills; ability to self-manage multiple projects with high level of organization
Retail channel management, consumer goods, or consulting experience
Experience in leading cross-functional teams across division (Sales, Demand Gen, Operations)
Experience in creating, and comfortable with presenting, compelling presentations to internal / external executives
Sales and Profit&Loss (P&L) Analysis Analyzes sales forecasts and monitors sales and marketing investments as needed for maintaining accurate target plans
Sales Optimization and ROI analysis Partners with sales and marketing to drive effective online promotions
Forecasting and Inventory Monitoring and Optimization
Entrepreneurial spirit and excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Bachelors degree (BA or BS) required, MBA preferred
Proficiencies working in both Excel & PowerPoint

Compensation for this role for a candidate based in Colorado is expected to be between $122,500 and $135,000, and for a candidate in NYC is expected to be between $153,500 and $168,500, but may be higher or lower in other regions due to geographic differentials in the labor market. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
