Job Description: Senior Manager, HR Communications
Position Summary

You are
An excellent writer, editor, and communications project leader and manager. A self-starter and strong collaborator who partners across a matrixed organization. Experienced at developing communication strategies that promote key messages, support culture and change initiatives, and foster colleague engagement. Adept at executing creative content campaigns including mining and writing stories that inspire audiences.
You have
Minimum of 7-10 years of communications experience, preferably in the Insurance/Financial Services industry or other highly regulated industry; HR communications experience desired
Deep experience developing and executing successful internal communications plans
Excellent writing and editing skills
Strong project management and organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in an environment where you juggle multiple projects simultaneously
Bachelors Degree
Graphic desktop publishing/content management and professional social media writing/posting experience

Focused on timely and accurate execution of deliverables
Receptive to feedback and display a can-do attitude
Highly collaborative and familiar working with cross-functional partners to ensure successful outcomes

You will
Serve as a trusted advisor to HR (and other applicable business) partners by providing comprehensive communications expertise across HR/specialty disciplines, audiences, tactics, channels, and measurement
Create and provide strategic direction on storylines and narratives to support key messages and required behaviors by colleagues and people leaders
Write and edit content for communications plans and all supporting materials (email, articles, videos, FAQs, infographics, toolkits, talking points, Yammer/LinkedIn messaging, town hall meetings, etc.)
Work cross-functionally to ensure all necessary partners have provided input on materials/projects

You will report to our Head of HR Communications.
Location and other requirements
Flexible with candidate choosing to work out of Stamford, CT, New York NY, or Holmdel NJ offices.
Up to 25% travel within US.
