We're looking for a professional with a positive energy and strong interpersonal and organizational skills to come on board as a Senior Manager, Creative Resource Management, focusing specifically on resourcing talent for integrated creative and social/brand strategy. In this role, you will play a direct and critical role in supporting the career paths of so many talented experts, and have first-hand involvement in casting teams that produce exciting and genuinely impactful work across a roster of culturally relevant campaigns with fortune 500 clients.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Get to know the many talented experts within the creative and strategy resource pools - understanding their strengths, skills and working styles to effectively cast them against existing client work and new, incoming opportunities
Apply your critical assessment skills in tandem with our account and discipline leads to quickly and thoughtfully evaluate new project details to source and ID the best solutions across full-time talent across centralized intake systems
Closely manage resources' time and assignments to ensure availability and commitments per resource are accurately tracked and updated in real-time
Communicate proactively and reactively with account teams and project managers on the status and fulfillment of inbound talent needs
Regularly join and/or lead meetings with talent pools (1:1 and group) to understand status of projects, capacity and opportunities
Partner as a broader collective with US and Global Edelman RM teams to leverage talent sharing opportunities when and as needed
Assess and escalate freelance needs in partnership with account leads, discipline leads, and HR partners
Actively participate in regular RM status meetings to update peers and managers on fulfillment of requests, escalate challenges and support needs and raise broader questions about talent, process or change management to continue to help grow and improve our offering
Allocate appropriate resources to work and determine resourcing gaps and appropriate solutions (freelancing vs full-time hires)
Preferred Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
3 - 7 years of relevant experience in resource management, project management or talent management
Experience identifying freelancing and full-time staffing needs,
Organized, positive and proactive person who will not be intimidated by a fast-paced work environment and ongoing multi-tasking, shifting priorities, and expectations management
Strong understanding of a variety of integrated creative roles (art direction, copywriting, design) and strategy roles (brand strategy and social strategy alike)
Exceptional communications skills - you know how to synthesize information per audience and you're comfortable escalating or following up with stakeholders of varying levels, expertise and priorities via email or in-person/on-camera
Personal character and instincts that consistently demonstrate strong work ethic, empathy and proactive and rationale thinking/problem-solving
Proven ability to partner closely with multi-disciplinary leadership and teams spanning Resourcing, Specialty Groups (Creative and Strategy), Account and Project Management
Eager to learn, stumble and learn more
Ability to handle sensitive information (re: talent or projects) with confidentiality, consideration and professionalism
