The Pricing team is a part of Linear Revenue Yield Management within Disney Ad Sales, a division within the Disney Media & Entertainment Distribution Segment of The Walt Disney Company. Our primary responsibilities include: Rate card selling schedule creation and management, inventory management, deal approvals, and avails reporting. The group regularly interacts with a broad array of other departments including Planning, Revenue Analytics, all levels of Sales, Global Ad Ops, Network Scheduling, Network Promo, Traffic, Tech, Sales Enablement, Research, Client Solutions and Finance. The goal of the team is to maximize revenue and respond to advertiser needs through inventory management across both upfront and scatter marketplace deals.
**Job Summary:**
Disney Ad Sales Revenue Management division is seeking an experienced Senior Manager who will be an outstanding addition to our Pricing & Planning team. The Senior Manager Pricing assumes responsibility to lead Pricing team activity when the Vice President of Pricing & Planning is unavailable for any reason, requiring an ability to work with and respond to cross functional multiregional senior management constituents from Scheduling to Traffic to RYM Analytics to Sales.
Reporting into VP of Pricing & Planning, this role will be focused on evaluating and recommending strategies to manage inventory and implementing courses of action to maximize revenue. This role requires problem solving savvy to curate feedback and translate into an action plan, working with the VP of Pricing & Planning.
Within the Pricing team, the Senior Manager Pricing will lead training and development efforts for the Sr Analyst with input from the team.
Working daily with the Planning Team, Senior Manager Pricing will provide mentorship, education and tactical direction re: inventory, pricing and packaging to a large team of Planning Managers & Sales Planners and will be tasked with directly supporting the revenue optimization of one or more networks.
This role will also aid the VP of Pricing & Planning as the primary stakeholder for key projects and team initiatives. The Senior Manager of Pricing will regularly provide Sales & Planning with updates on inventory, network pricing and RFP requirements and will analyze and approve deals accordingly.
The Sr Manager Pricing has a broad group of strategic partners including Manager/Sr Manager/Director Tech and Sales Enablement, Traffic, Research, Scheduling, RYM Analytics, in addition to AEs and Sales Management.

**Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:**
As a savvy problem solving leader, curate direct feedback from Planners/AAEs and AEs into actionable steps to maximize inventory to enhance plan building accuracy and efficiency resulting in the maximization of revenue. Recommend to VP of Pricing & Planning and pursue approved course of action.
Assist the VP of Pricing & Planning as the primary stakeholder of key projects & team initiatives; develop effective communications to drive adoption and accelerate implementation.
Established in conjunction with the Pricing management team, responsible for Analyst /Sr Analyst training curriculum and training delivery/implementation, both classroom and on the job.
A knowledgeable adviser to the Network Scheduling team, with an understanding of marketplace requirements and rate card functions, ensure all content hours are covered, correctly assigned and priced accordingly to maximize sales revenue potential/P&L attainment.
As network/brand expert, mentor and direct Planners/AAEs and AEs regarding best response to advertiser RFPS as they impact inventory utilization and revenue, from daypart mix to DNA.
Manage a large volume of multi-regional Sales generated RFPs concurrently competing for inventory. Analyze and approve, suggest modifications or reject proposals generated by Planners, based on adherence to packaging and pricing guidelines developed by the Pricing team.
Steward both internal and marketplace feedback to help resolve pricing/packaging gaps, roadblocks, or opportunities; utilize marketplace experience to inform new & developing GTM strategies. Support Sales as the first line of defense in addressing pricing & packaging inquiries.
**Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training:**
+ 7+ years business experience, with a focus on Pricing in a national sales organization.
+ Experience mentoring or managing & working with junior team members, strongly preferred.
+ Ability to provide clear executional direction and context to less experienced staff.
+ Quantitative-thinker, with robust problem solving skills and detail orientation.
+ Ability to multi-task and thrive in a team oriented, dynamic sales organization.
+ Excellent verbal/written communication and organizational skills.
+ Strong understanding of industry sales systems.
+ Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
+ Bachelors Degree preferred.
