Tableaus Cloud team needs a dedicated Senior Product Manager (Individual Contributor) who shares our vision to deliver the best experiences for our Tableau Cloud and Tableau Server products. At Tableau, we are on a mission to help people see and understand data. We build intuitive and powerful analytics software that enables thousands of leading organizations and millions of people around the world to find insights in their data.

Cloud Deploy & Monitor Product team is made up of Product Management professionals who come together to enable the administration experiences of Tableau Server & Cloud. Youll work with outstanding engineers across the Tableau and Salesforce organizations to deliver serious benefit to our customers and business.

Responsibilities:

Define features/solutions to guide the continued development of content and data migration solutions. This will support customers data content life cycles through development, QA, production, and disposition stages. In addition, you will be responsible for helping customers make the move to Tableau Cloud from their self-hosted Tableau Server environments by developing tools that seamlessly migrate their data.

You will operate as the product owner on an Offshore Agile SCRUM team that delivers core features. You will work closely with research and design teams to identify customer needs and build engaging and intuitive user experiences. You will collaborate with other product teams to unlock dependencies and create cohesive experiences across the Tableau platform. You will especially work with teams that have related data portability charters.

A successful candidate in this role will have outstanding organization skills and be able to demonstrate their experience to create key partnerships with business and product leadership to craft the vision, chart a course, and drive business impact. You are passionate about building teams with exceptional talent, creating a culture of learning and experimentation alongside driving and shaping the vision of Tableaus products and services to accelerate the business.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years cloud software industry experience in a Product Management role.

• Top notch written and oral communication skills, including experience presenting to executive leadership, participating in the sales cycles, evangelizing product strategy, and handling sensitive customer issues

• Strong collaboration, influence, and negotiation skills to align the organization around prioritization and delivery of product roadmap

• Exceptional time management skills to effectively juggle multiple demanding priorities

• Proven ability to deliver on commitments

• Well-developed leadership, management, and strategic-thinking skills, with the ability to excite and lead others.

• Demonstrated experience in gathering and transforming product requirements into a practical product roadmap

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Experience with server and cloud-based technologies

• Understanding of data integration, replication and governance controls in a cloud environment.

• Familiar with data workflows, APIs, SDKs, microservices, enterprise application integration technologies and middleware solutions (e.g. MuleSoft or comparable).

• Hands on knowledge of new product introduction methodologies (new products/features, pricing, packaging, product launch, and go to market).

• Deep familiarity with the administrative technology landscape and admin user needs is a plus.

• Experience addressing executive leadership and handling critical customer situations

• Experienced with Agile Development and operating as the product owner for Agile SCRUM teams.
