Be a key part of BestBuy's Ad Tools Self-Service team! This team drives the development of the MyAds website that is used by internal teams to monitor the performance of advertising campaigns. Best Buy is investing heavily in advertising and has ambitions plans for this team.
What will you do as a Engineer:
Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle architecture, design, development, MVP, and DevOps
Participate in the design and development of key e-commerce technology initiatives
Be a part of an Agile team of skilled developers & engineers
Work directly with technical leads, engineers, operations, product managers and business stakeholders
Demonstrate a creative and innovation-driven ability to articulate engineering design patterns related to scale, performance, security, and usability

Minimum Qualifications:
3 or more years of experience working with Java and Spring Boot
2 or more years of experience working with git, Jenkins or with a CI/CD pipeline
Expertise crafting and consuming RESTful web services
You feel at home in a test-driven, agile team
Preferred Qualifications:
3 or more years of experience working with modern web technologies including React, TypeScript, Javascript
Knowledge of and working experience with open source software (Apache, Memcache, etc.) as well as networks, security, firewalls, load balancers, DNS, and other infrastructure components
Agile development practical experience
