SAIC is looking for a Senior System Administrator at Fort Gordon, GA.
Overview:
Support INSCOM Military Intelligence Brigade (MIB) locations in relation to Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (PED) support, with projects including consolidated infrastructure (CI), and other actions as directed by PED support. The position is located onsite at Fort Gordon, GA. The Fort Gordon SAIC DPED team supports INSCOM G7 and the 116th Military Intelligence Brigade. Their mission is to provide Full Motion Video and National Imagery analysis within multiple AORs in direct support of Special Operations Forces (SOF) and Army unified Land Operations. The DPED team provides 24/7 support to issues within the US Army INSCOM Global Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (PED) center, and the Converged Infrastructure (CI) by installing and maintaining a virtual environment across four networks and insuring its virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) functionality.
Note: This role supports a 24/7 Service environment and the SA will support a rotating-shift work schedule.
Job Description:
Serve as part of a support team and will be available to respond to the issues defined by INSCOM G7 FM and the 116th MI BDE; candidates will provide support for SAN integration, configuration and Level I/II sustainment of INSCOM CI, as well as System Administration for Windows, Linux, and Solaris administration and other application expertise on emerging systems.
Provide support to the underlying system architecture management applications like VMWare Virtual Center, IBM Director, and other “platform†tools supporting configuration, monitoring, and documentation.
Assist in the installation and maintenance of the Virtual Environment VM 6.7 for four (4) networks, and will maintain VDI functionality.
Assist in TTC and TGS integration and maintenance for Operational Ground Station (OGS) workstations.
Maintain AD for SIPR/JWICS/ CXI and NSA provided service/maintenance for user accounts, and assist with Host malfunctions on applications running in the stack as necessary.
Qualifications
Education / Clearance / Certification Requirements:
Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree
4+ year of Windows Systems Administrator experience
Active TS/SCI with Poly
DoD 8570 IAT Level II certified. Must have any 1 of the following prior to start date:
{eg..Security+, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP, CASP, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, CCSP]
Computing Environment Certification Required within 60 days of hire: This can be ANY certification dealing with ANY specific computing environment
