AIG engagements range from holistic cross-functional transformations, functional performance improvement, interim management, and M&A assistance with a clear focus on quickly identifying high impact opportunities for EBITDA expansion, balance sheet improvements, and increasing shareholder/company value.

Who We Are Looking For:

The A&M AIG team is rapidly growing and is looking for a Technical Leader/Senior Technical Leader that will help drive the development of advanced analytics and software solutions for a variety of clients. The role encompasses a broad set of technical and managerial tasks involved in the conceptualization, design, and development of complex solutions. This includes front-end applications as well as backend optimization engines and the middleware platform to connect those elements together.

We have positions open with two different seniority levels and will craft the right role and responsibility for the right candidate.

The leaders in our advanced analytics and software solution team will assume a wider variety of responsibilities including the architecture, design and development of the various software components and software systems in the portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Work with A&M consulting teams and clients to conceptualize new advanced analytics and software solutions

  • Work with business analysts and technology partners to develop a proper set of requirements, establish a budget and plan the execution of the development program

  • Take a leading role in the architecture and design efforts and oversee the development work with external development partners

  • Take ownership of the database design and all aspects of creating the right data schema needed to support a complex business problem

  • Develop the core algorithms with the right level of detailed documentation in order to enable an efficient code development and testing process, provide team member support when needed

  • Handle code reviews and take an active role in the gated agile development process

  • Maintaining code repository and design documentation as per best practice

  • Oversee testing and release of new versions

  • Work with infrastructure expert to ensure the right environment is in place to run the various software solutions

  • Ensure on time and on budget delivery

  • Report progress to the A&M Managing Director in charge of the Advanced Analytics and Software solution group

  • Take a leading report in helping grow the team and mentor team members

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a technology related field (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science, etc.)

Experience/Expertise

  • Demonstrable experience in implementing Big data solutions in data analytics space

  • Working experience with graphs/graph databases (Tigergraph preferred, Neo4j otherwise)

  • Experience deploying and tuning Graph databases solutions

  • Expertise with Graph database algorithm development (Tigergraph preferred, Neo4j otherwise)

  • Experience with graph data models (e.g., LPG, RDF) and graph languages (GSQL, Cypher, Gremlin, SparQL), exposure to various graph data modeling techniques for common use cases (e.g., Customer 360, recommendation engine, supply chain mapping, network mapping) for analytical (OLAP) workloads

  • Solid understanding of graph data modeling, graph schema development, graph data design

  • Experience developing graph algorithms, optimizing complex queries, designing indexes and constraints

  • Experience developing APIs using graph database connectivity

  • Experience with building data pipelines in getting the data required to build and maintain graph solution

  • Data movement technologies (ETL/ELT), Messaging/Streaming Technologies (AWS SQS, Kinesis/Kafka), Relational and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, EKS, Graph database), API and in-memory technologies

  • Solid understanding of developing highly scalable distributed systems using Open-source technologies

  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins or equivalent), version control (Git), orchestration/DAGs tools (AWS Step Functions, Airflow, Luigi, Kubeflow, or equivalent)

  • Solid experience in Agile methodologies (Kanban and SCRUM)

  • Solid experience in managing development team of 30+ members distributed globally

  • Proven experience in defining the proper front-end system architecture and scoping the various interrelated projects to get a system built

  • Demonstrated ability to find creative ways to assemble open-source solutions with custom made code into cost effective software solutions
