What You'll Do 

We are looking for a Technical Leader for Cisco Silicon One Network Applications Team.  Cisco Silicon One is an industry leading Network Processor powering all major big tech in service provider, enterprise, web scaler and data center markets.   This Technical Leader will work on key enabling key features in Cisco Silicon One through SDK and SAI software development. This will include L2, L3, QOS, vxlan, evpn, segment routing, traffic manager and other key areas.  

Who You'll Work With 

You will be partnering with product architects and technical leads in the ASIC team, Cisco architects and leads/developers in our customer teams. It will not be unusual for you to meet with and present to Partners and Customers. You will engage with the broader community inside and outside Cisco.   

Who You Are 

This technical leader should have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent training and work experience. You should have 8-10 years of experience as a software developer and preferably have prior domain knowledge in computer networking, forwarding. You are excited to explain complex technical concepts and share your knowledge with diverse audiences both internally and externally. You have the ability to take network requirements and distill what is needed in software to configure Cisco Silicon One, write test cases in python, create example code for customers to consume the network processor SDK in a simple way, make network debugging as easy as possible
