Ascension Living Alexian PACE is a community-based program whose purpose is to serve the frail elderly residents of Hamilton County with a healthcare model including senior home care, adult daycare and specialized geriatric medical care. We are currently seeing a Full Time Shuttle Driver. Schedule: Full-Time - 1st shift Monday - Friday 8a - 5:30p What You Will Do Transport people from site while maintaining the assigned schedule. Operate vehicle in a safe manner. Informs supervisor of any unusual situations or accidents immediately. Assist riders entering and exiting the vehicle. Complies with all traffic safety rules and regulations. Assist the department supervisor with the daily activities of the Transportation department. Inspect and maintain vehicle daily for cleaning and safety issues. Maintains accurate logs per required standards. Follow established schedules, adjusts schedules to meet unanticipated changes, and determines safest and most efficient pickup and delivery routes. Drive specially equipped van to deliver physically limited persons to various destinations; assures that wheelchair lifts and tie down equipment are properly operated and that riders are delivered to appointments in a timely manner. What You Will Need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Drivers License obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Chauffeur preferred. BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Heart Saver AED preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education: High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
