Our team is just stepping into the world of AWS and is looking for an experienced resource who can contribute in myriad ways like putting together the roadmap, architecting solutions, implement solutions as well as mentor the team on AWS.
Primarily our team is the go to channel for providing integration services for Enterprise gateway platform which supports business domains like Client, Claim, Clinical, etc. Enterprise Gateway is the front facing gateway with our external partners to receive EDI files as well as support API requests supporting the above listed domains and feed it to downstream systems like claim engines/ Eligibility systems/ Utilization Management systems etc. Primarily, this team will implement patterns around data validation, transformation on the cloud and feeding the files to On-Prem environments. Similarly there will be requirements to feed data in real time from On-Prem to the AWS Cloud to forward to external entities, generate reports, run analytics etc.
Must be a current contractor with Cigna, Express Scripts, or Evernorth. Evernorth is a new business within the Cigna Corporation. This role is WAH/Flex which allows most work to be performed at home. Employees must be fully vaccinated if they choose to come onsite.
Required skills
AWS Certification is required.
Hands on experience in building applications onAWS platformutilizing services likeLambda, API Gateway, File Gateway, SQS, SNS, S3, Docker, CloudWatch, IAM, KMS, ECS, EKS etc.is required.
Background inTerraformis a plus.
Proficiency inone of the programming languages -Java/Python/Node/Go.
Understanding of Messaging platformslike IBM MQ,AMQ as well as streaming components likeKafka.
Querying Oracle, NoSQL databases likeDynamo, Postgres, RDSandElastic Search.
Supporting Continuous Integration leveraging frameworks like Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible, Conduit, Please etc.
Performance tuning (threading, indexing, clustering, caching, sharding) is a plus.
Good communication and documentation skills especially using Confluence, Gliffy etc.
Agile (Scrum or Kanban).
Excellent Interpersonal skills

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 115,100 - 191,800 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
