We currently are seeking a talented and experienced Service Provider Partner Global Account Manager to help develop a number of key high level partners across EMEA.
Roles & Responsibilities
Serve as a key member of the EMEA Service Provider team focused on helping drive, land and expand strategic partnerships with key Telco and IOT focused network, ISV, and Hyperscale providers/partners such as Ericsson, Mavenir, Nokia, Siemens, ABB, AWS, Azure.
Help define the joint-F5 and partner value proposition and business plans with and for the EMEA field teams and in-line with F5s strategic imperatives and promises
Work backwards from customer and partner use cases to clearly identify and articulate technical and business requirements that provide direction & priorities for F5 to properly develop its product roadmaps and capabilities.
Identify strategic and mutually expansive TAM and revenue generating use cases/opportunities with partners for EMEA telco service providers while working with key internal stakeholders (e.g., sales teams, product service teams, legal, support, marketing etc.)
Develop and drive joint customer opportunity pipeline with the Telco service provider focused partners (Network vendors, Hyperscalers, ISVs)
Proactively manage & monitor progress and roadblocks related to embedding F5s products.
Support the field in deal closing & deal bookings with the partner
Drive initiatives to expand the partners adoption of F5s Service provider solution portfolio.
Support and help trouble shoot complex engagements and deal structures
Prepare, present & drive Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) with F5 senior management & the partners management team.
Negotiate Master purchasing agreements as appropriate with key partners.
Basic Qualifications
10+ years of experience with direct sales/account management with major equipment and software vendors such as Ericsson, Nokia, Microsoft, Siemens
Solid understanding of Telecommunications, in particular Mobile communications, IOT and cloud industries
Experience with mobile networking products, in particular core networking, RAN, OSS/BSS.
Strong relationships with key decision makers and influencers at the top network equipment vendors, IOT ISVs and Hyperscalers
Strong verbal and written communications skills are necessary, as well as leadership skills.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations is key.
Experience in negotiating Master Purchase agreements with partners
Preferred Qualifications
Experience selling / positioning modern service provider architectures (edge networking/compute, CDN, micro-service architectures) and software subscriptions.
Relationships with major public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Alibaba) a plus
MBA, Computer Science, and/or Communications Engineering background highly desired
Understanding of software development practices (e.g., Agile, CI/CDP), Software defined architectures
