**Job Description**
The Business Analysis is an intermediate level position responsible for understanding business problems, analyzing them thoroughly, finding appropriate solutions and implementing them. This BA position requires good analytical knowledge on Fixed Income and Derivative products from Front Office perspective. Candidate is expected to have quantitative skills along with logical and analytical skills.
Business Analysts with experience ONLY in JIRA, QA Testing, BRD, Reconciliation but without quantitative skills need NOT apply.
**Responsibilities** :
Manage Product analysis for a global Front office Trade booking and risk management system supporting Foreign Exchange, Fixed Income and Derivative Products
Consult with business end users to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new projects and process enhancements
Assist system change processes through implementation by providing technical knowledge to ensure efficiency
Work with various internal and business teams to achieve business goals
Provide evaluative judgments based on analysis of information in complicated and unique situations
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
**Qualifications** :
At least 5+ years experience as Business Analyst with any Investment/ Global Bank/ IT Major in Trade Processing, Risk Management areas
Working knowledge of various types of Foreign Exchange, Fixed Income & Derivatives products
Ability to explain and manually calculate P&L, Risk concepts
Good knowledge of full trade lifecycle viz., deal capture, downstream flows, PL & Risk management, accounting, settlements etc.
Be able to understand system interfaces and experience in understanding different messaging formats viz., xml, fpml, json
Knowledge of other products like commodities, equities is a plus but not a requirement
Knowledge about GL and Regulatory systems and flows is an add on

**Education** :
Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Master's degree preferred
