The purpose of the Marketing and Sales Analyst is to help elevate data's role within our marketing and sales organizations. This role will be responsible for discovering and quantifying new business or market opportunities, analyzing marketing and campaign performance through reporting and dashboards, and making strategic recommendations based on the insights they uncover. This role will need a consultative mindset and be responsible for setting up experiments to test strategic decisions in marketing and sales. This role will serve as an all-around athlete combining a high level of business acumen and analytical ability.

Making an Impact
Evaluate demand gen funnel and create strategy for optimization
Examine selling strategy and optimize approach (i.e. analyze land and expand strategy effectiveness)
Measure campaign effectiveness and recommend target markets, target audiences and most effective tactics for future campaigns
Analyze Google Analytics to increase campaign web traffic, optimize visitor/candidate conversion rates and recommend SEO content to increase our demand gen funnel
Develop customer journey based on digital footprint with our brands
Analyze survey results from ad hoc surveys done to support marketing and sales
Define segmentation for enterprise and convenience accounts
Advise prospect/outbound sales strategy for sales based on performance data
Define target market for tailored sequences in Outreach
Evaluate win/loss data in CRM to advise strategy for targeting and tactical improvements in marketing/sales outreach
Analyze sales team effectiveness via emails, meetings, and collaboration hours to optimize sales resources with our target audience
Define contact strategy and measure touchpoints throughout buyer journey to define optimal marketing and sales outreach
Develop and refine ideal customer persona for each brand and product
Develop content and channel execution strategy based on campaign effectiveness data on our target markets in collaboration with integrated and digital team
Develop target audience for campaigns (e.g. ideal persona, likely to churn, etc.)
Analyze and define nurture strategy for execution to increase velocity of Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs)
Analyze supplier diversity data to support sales acceleration
Develop data insights to support ManpowerGroup's supplier diversity program
Sitecore hyper-personalization at scale- provide the strategy to the integrated and digital team to personalize content for individuals
Isolate intent attributes and map to digital signals that we can use for target marketing

Sharing Expertise
Propose solutions and strategies to marketing/sales challenges based on analytical insights
Present complex findings through data visualization and data-driven insights to gain buy-in and consensus with leadership.
Work closely with program managers to support sales programs such as ManpowerGroup's supplier diversity program

Gaining Exposure
Work with analytics department to productionalize insights and build dashboards
Support the planning, evaluation and selection of analytics tools and software.
Maintain strong relationships with marketing and sales leaders to understand needs of marketing and sales department
Keep a pulse on the field to understand pain points via connectivity to leaders and other resources, then translate that information into problems and prioritize when/how to tackle
Work with analytics team and coach them through the business lens of the data to help them build efficient models to answer marketing and sales strategic questions

Your Typical Day
Continuously review the state of our marketing and sales teams' effectiveness by analyzing reports, dashboards, and BI tools
Identify areas of opportunity based on the metrics provided by the analytics team and our marketing tools
Develop project plan to tackle business problems or analyze hypotheses
Work with marketing and sales teams to understand the data they need to be a high functioning team
Put together summary of findings based on dashboard (building = 5-10% and technical but need the bus intel to know what to ask/look at, analyzing it is higher % of time and diff skill set)
Work with analytics team to share insights for in depth model building
Other accountabilities as assigned

Qualifications:

Required
Education: Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, marketing, business, or accounting
Experience: Minimum 5 years work experience in economics, marketing, or strategy-related field
Experience with PowerBI

Nice to Have
Ability to aggregate, standardize, interpret and model data, and to work independently within a data warehouse or decentralized environment
Fluency in web analytics (ComScore, Google Analytics), especially around digital content customer
Experience with marketing campaign data, in particular email, digital ad, and organic social data
Basic corporate financial literacy
