Northrop Grumman Space Systems Launch and Missile Defense Systems has an exciting career opportunity for a Sr. Principal Systems Administrator DecSecOps Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located out of Colorado Springs, CO.

**Position Overview:**

The selected candidate will support the C2BMC DevSecOps team to develop and deploy Infrastructure as a Service and Platform as a Service capability. The candidate will assist in the system administration of multiple environments, software deployment, troubleshooting, and automation in a DevSecOps environment for a critical customer program.

**Essential Functions:**

+ Working with the leading DevOps practices and tooling (Hashicorp Tools, Gitlab CI/CD, Ansible Tower and Nexus Pro).
+ Work on systems administration related issues with hardware and software for different network environments.
+ Support deployment of custom software solutions integrating COTS, GOTS, and developed software.
+ Propose system administration process improvement to reduce overall maintenance requirements by working with the design team and manufacturers.
+ Determines systems requirements, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility and maintenance of system configuration.
+ Identifies, analyzes, and resolves program support deficiencies.
+ Develops and recommends corrective actions.
+ May provide technical guidance for database administrators and software developers.

**Basic Qualifications:**

If applicable, please note your updated security clearance and IAT/relevant certifications on your resume.

+ An active Secret clearance is required.
+ 9 Years with Bachelors degree in a related field; 13 years experience in lieu of a degree.
+ Must possess a DoD 8570 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA)
+ Experience with Linux or Windows System Administration
+ Scripting skills in languages such as bash or PowerShell
+ Experience with automation

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Candidates with an understanding of software development life cycle.
+ Experience with Agile methodology.
+ Knowledge of DevSecOps principles
+ Experience with Ansible Automation Platform, including Ansible Tower
+ Experience with HashiCorp Packer and Vault
+ Experience with Gitlab CI/CD - Experience with Nexus
+ Experience in virtualization technology, including, but not limited to, VMware
+ Understanding of HP server configuration

Salary Range: $103,900.00 - $155,900.00

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
