**Job Description**
**Roles and Responsibilities**
+ Be a first point of contact for employees and People Leaders, builds strong professional relationship across all levels of the business, by providing first class HR leadership, support and coaching
+ Have a scope which will cover all of SSA countries as SSA HR Partner for the Renewable Energy business and country HRM for Ghana & Francophone Africa
+ Ensure that all employee relations issues are properly identified, reported, investigated and resolved
+ Proactively ensure the right level resources with the necessary skills set are identified, selected and recruited. Ensures the hiring process embodies diversity and company procedures integrate everyone in the workplace, allowing their differences to coexist in a mutually beneficial way
+ Provide advice to managers on the effective operation of the performance management system, through the management of staff priorities, competencies and training needs, in order that the performance and development of staff is reviewed regularly and proactively
+ Create and administer learning and development programs in a mutually beneficial way that will retain staff and meets the needs of the organization.
+ Collaborate and work with and leverage the centers of expertise (COE) like Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, People Operations, Learning & Development teams, aligning local HR activities with regional/global HR standards and processes.
+ Ensure monthly reports are submitted on time. Analyze HR KPI's and propose actions for their improvement. Leverage metrics and analytics to drive fact-based decision making.
+ Be an individual contributor, reporting to Regional HR Leader. Role operates with autonomy. Activities require professional judgement but may require more senior levels of guidance
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelors Degree and extensive & demonstrated HR expertise
+ Willing to travel
+ Proven experience driving direct business impact
+ Strong track record of building partnerships both internally and externally
+ Must be fluent in French and in English
+ Have a basic understanding or experience working with labor law in French speaking/ west African countries
+ Have at least 5 years of experience in HR generalist role
+ Able to work/ already worked with government agencies and senior leaders
+ Must have experience working with legal entity set ups (supporting People Operations / shared service organizations with implementation of legal entity set up)
+ Domain expert for Francophone Africancountries in West Africa
+ Experience working with Workers Councils
