Citis Financial Crimes organization aims to protect our clients, our franchise and the financial system from being used to facilitate money laundering and terrorist financing through a robust, globally consistent program focused on the prevention, detection and reporting of AML risks which complies with applicable AML laws and regulations.


The Global Financial Crimes Investigations and Intelligences (hereafter GFCII) mission is to create an integrated approach to the prevention and detection of financial crime by identifying vulnerabilities and mitigating risks to the bank. The GFCII has expanded its mission from Anti-Money Laundering to integrate areas including, but not limited to, Cyber-Enabled Financial Crimes, Data Intelligence, Vulnerable Person Program, Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Sanctions, Fraud, and Cryptocurrency. GFCIIs responsibilities include identifying trends and patterns within Citis data which will be distributed to relevant stakeholders for appropriate action or informational purposes with an objective is to pro-actively identify ongoing unusual activity and emerging trends. This expansion requires a synchronized operational approach across the Financial Crimes umbrella. GFCII is a global unit with regional teams located in EMEA, APAC, LATAM/MX and NAM covering multiple countries in each region.


**Roles and Responsibilities**


This senior vice president role will ensure appropriate action and connectivity has been completed related to GFCIIs strategic initiatives to ensure an end-to-end process is developed and managed. This role will support and protect the firm against emerging Financial Crime risks. This position will be responsible for developing partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders to identify and address current trends and to mitigate risks. This position will build synergies across functions to create a holistic framework in preventing and detecting financial crimes. In support of the expanded mission, this position is responsible for overseeing the GFCII training program globally. This role is accountable for ensuring strategic alignment of GFCII training program with GFCII's expanded missions, identifying training needs by consulting with stakeholders, and developing and delivering training on key areas such as vulnerable persons exploitation, cryptocurrency and human trafficking to a broad audience to include AML, Sanctions, Anti-Bribery and Corruption, and Fraud.


**Key Responsibilities:**


+ Lead cross-function & cross-program strategic initiatives and partner closely with necessary stakeholders across GFCII and Financial Crimes

+ Own end-to-end execution of strategic initiatives from problem identification through requirements definition and solution implementation

+ Work closely with stakeholders and designees on strategic initiatives and enhancements ensuring the necessary checkpoints have been implemented and met

+ Work cross-functionally with stakeholders to support the delivery of program communications and engagement tactics; design the communications and outreach strategy; assist in defining and implementing client awareness campaign; create communications materials to promote key program campaigns and initiatives

+ Identify areas of interdependencies (both within the GFCII and external to the GFCII) and demonstrate leadership to bring teams together to drive integration of objectives and underlying work

+ Lead GFCII's learning and development strategy, manage its implementation and measure its impact

+ Ensure strategic alignment of the GFCII training program with GFCII's expanded missions, assess the training needs, partner with both internal and external stakeholders, facilitate a wide variety of training programs, and optimize training processes


**Qualifications:**


+ 8-10 years prior work experience in AML or other financial crimes related work.

+ Working knowledge of the laws applicable to money laundering, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), The USA Patriot Act, OFAC, FinCEN requirements, and Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) requirements

+ Proven record of excellent project management and organizational skills and capability to handle multiple projects at one time

+ Ability to lead global initiatives and drive global consistency

+ Highly motivated, self-starter, flexible, innovative, and adaptive

+ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and with people at all levels of a complex organization

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills

+ Understanding of tools/technique in leveraging data/technology in solving operational/process challenges.

+ Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

+ Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience required

+ Masters degree preferred
