Join a team that designs, develops, and integrates highly complex systems within Honeywell Aerospace. You will be integral in creating system solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will be involved in every aspect of the systems life cycle, from the front end of business development through product end of life. The specifics of this role are focused on ensuring the systems design, analysis, and test of Datalink products over a wide range of operational environments for Commercial and Military aircraft, while beating the project cost, schedule, and technical goals.\r

YOU MUST HAVE

  • \r\t

  • Bachelor€™s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering

  • \r\t

  • 1.5+ years of Datalink Engineering Development and Test experience

  • \r\t

  • 1.5+ years of experience in the development and delivery of datalink database products

  • \r\t

  • Must be a United States Citizen due to contractual requirements.

  • \r

WE VALUE

  • \r\t

  • Experience with development custom software Aircraft Operational Control (AOC) databases

  • \r\t

  • Experience with Aircraft Reconfiguration Tool (ART) and Ground Based Software Tool (GBST)

  • \r\t

  • Create and update Version Description Documents (VDDs)

  • \r\t

  • Lab experience testing and verifying requirements of Data Communication Management Function(DCMF) and Flight Deck COMM Functions(FDCF)

  • \r\t

  • Training and approval by OEM for supporting flight test domestic and international with large commercial aircraft

  • \r\t

  • Address in-service customer issues for mitigation and root cause analysis; MIPS analysis and TLA experience

  • \r\t

  • Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done.

  • \r\t

  • Ability to adapt dictated by project changes.

  • \r\t

  • Multi-tasking and the ability to manage a variety of complicated tasks.

  • \r\t

  • Diverse thoughts and ideas; and experience teaming and collaboration with global Engineers.

  • \r\t

  • An understanding of data and networking structures, protocols and to apply analytical problem solving methods.

  • \r\t

  • Experience with Aerospace, Airsim, Multisim, MATLAB, Teamcenter, ClearQuest, DOORS, JIRA, ART, GBST
