**Job Summary:**


The Software Engineer will be responsible for many aspects of the software development lifecycle, including development of solution to improve the overall reliability and performance of existing applications, development of automations to streamline the DevOps processes, management processes, and support activities. The software engineer will be responsible for restoring applications, interacting with cloud services, addressing software coding bugs, developing reporting using the MSFT Power Platform, troubleshooting intersystem issues between components like snowflake, Databricks, Nifi, and others. The Software Engineer should have a basic understanding of Machine Learning Ops, Data Management, and application support. The Software Engineer should also have intermediate Azure Operations and Azure scaling skills


**Roles and Responsibilities:**


The Software Engineer will be part of a larger support organization that is charged with maintaining and supporting Azure cloud services, applications running on the cloud services and ensuring correct remediation and escalations are addressed


+ Monitor and maintain Azure Cloud services and applications

+ Troubleshoot / Remediate any applications or services impacted due to performance issues

+ Engage and remediate with Tier 3 support, applications and services outside of direct control

+ Document common and recurring issues, so as to provide a plan for creating automated solutions for remediation

+ Create automated scripts / software for error correction, monitoring and remediation (SRE)

+ Over 1 Years in Azure Operations and scaling Support

+ Over 4 years of DevOps

+ Over 4 years of Software Development

+ Microsoft Azure (DevOps, Software, Cloud) : 3

+ Java: 3

+ SQL: 3

**Secondary / Desired skills:**


+ Palantir: 1

+ Apache Nifi: 2

**Education Qualification:**


+ Bachelor of Engineering or Equivalent.


**Certifications (if any specific):**


+ MS Azure certifications would be a great asset
