**Trade Infrastructure Estate Manager - Architect**


**Team Mission**


The Trade IEM team is focused on ensuring the use of standard infrastructure patterns and utility services to support the application performance, resiliency and availability requirements in the most economical manner. The architecture team will also deliver customized solutions that address the unique technology demands of the Trade organization.


**Job Description**


The Infrastructure Manager-Architect will lead a diverse and dynamic team whose role deliver well thought solution designs of complex, multi-tier, cross platform environments. In this role, the architect will identify and analyze business requirements, develop and design and drive the end to end solution delivery. The architect will partner with business leaders, developers, engineers, and production support teams globally to provide design guidelines, impart knowledge on technical trends and serve as a Subject Matter Expert on various architecture disciplines.


_Infrastructure Architecture & Strategy:_


+ Work with senior technologists to influence and shape the strategic and future direction target state infrastructure architecture.

+ Broad knowledge of various enterprise technology architectures and business platforms

+ Define and implement infrastructure standards, process, patterns, workflow, SLAs, SLOs.

+ Design reference architectures, generate infrastructure solution cost and enforce Citi solution patterns complying with governance and compliancy standards.

+ Influence and educate the project teams, engineers, build delivery and support teams on standards, processes, and tools

+ Use of project management methodologies and tools to drive end to end solution delivery.


_Technical solutions design:_


+ Develop comprehensive high level infrastructure solutions that incorporate strategic target state architecture and standards to maximize performance, capacity and minimize total cost of ownership.

+ Understands and can apply knowledge of Internet/Intranet, e-commerce, enterprise technologies to infrastructure solutions

+ Experienced in UNIX and Windows technologies, including database, messaging and web platforms, with a strong focus on implementation

+ Systems planning and engineering skills and strong technical problem-solving skills

+ Broad knowledge of data centers and support services, monitoring, performance modeling, capacity analysis and planning, client/server environments and advanced modeling and trending tools in advanced environments.

+ In-depth understanding of Networks, SAN, Backup, Web, Middleware, Database, Security, High Availability, operational support technologies

+ The ability to review utilization metrics, analyze, and arrive at a conclusion of end state resource allocations.


_Disaster Recovery Strategy:_


+ Partner with the application owners to develop and update comprehensive DR strategy for the line of businesses across the global enterprise

+ Work with Production teams to develop specific Disaster Recovery plans that meet the overall strategy

+ Recommend specific tools strategies, and solutions for DR solutions


_Incident Consulting_ :


+ Provide technical assistance with the most challenging issues that span multiple systems, platforms and locations, or show recurring trends that have not been successfully resolved and RCAs.


_Communication_ :


+ Strong and effective communication skills to guide meetings, provide direction, conduct presentations, and influence change, enforcing enterprise directivities, driving solutions with compliant and non-compliant teams and interface business sponsors and executive leadership.


_Expertise_


+ Experience in architecture and deployment strategies leveraging cloud services (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, DBaaS), Oracle DB, MS SQL Server, PostgresSQL, MongoDB, IBM WAS, WebLogic, Tomcat.

+ Strong understanding of Infrastructure Virtualization, Containers, High Availability Application and Database clusters and distributed systems.

+ Understanding of BIG data and Integration technologies like AbInitio, Kafka, Apache Ignite, IBM MQ and Rabbit MQ is required, data and system migrations with recovery plans.


+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

+ Minimum of 2 years of Technical Architect and/or solutions engineering and design experience

+ Public/Hybrid Cloud Experience

+ Foundational knowledge of TOGAF, Zachman, ITIL, PMI/PMP, SDLC will be advantage

+ Experience in SA/MW/VMware Administration is preferred.

+ Knowledge of OpenShift, AWS, and Azure is a plus.
