Auto req ID: 287324BR Job Description Main Purpose: PepsiCo Data Product Management Overview: The Product Management team is tasked with articulation of the vision and leading the execution and implementation of PEPs next generation global Digital and Data infrastructure. The scope encompasses the full S&T agenda, leading all Digital and Data product roadmapped initiatives, and is intended to manifest as components of a Data/Digital platforms which enable all business functions at Global scale. Product Manager Net Revenue Management Role Overview: The Product Manager, Net Revenue Management, will lead the day-to-day activities across the cross-functional teams including: end users, data vendors, internal PepsiCo data partnerships team such as Global Net Revenue Management and the Technical Program Manager groups, as well as data science and data engineering. The Product Manager will collaborate to provide overall feasibility and functional integration within the suite of Net Revenue Management. This role will be responsible for supporting successful delivery of the strategic vision, refining product roadmaps, setting product requirements, orchestrating PI planning, and communicating risks and potential solutions to product leadership. Given the complexities of developing global data products, and the priority placed on it by the business, this role will require a high degree of adroitness navigating and assessing markets of all sizes and crafting solutions that are scalable all while keeping the projects on track. The ideal candidate will combine skills and experience with Fortune 500 commercial organizations and building/leveraging data products, with deep knowledge in more technical roles such as development, data architecture, or database management Accountabilities: Product Design and Development o Serve as a subject matter expert of our current/planned NRM product o Identify risks and concerns for product delivery as related to individual teams as well as dependencies across product workstreams o Assist in story creation and ADO project management o Present strategic opportunities and risks for feature, market, and banner growth with strategies related to sequencing, incremental role out, and evaluation of technical debt for speed to delivery vs. perfection of feature o Maintain Product Documentation for onboarding and refresh processes and development plans Project Management o Facilitate meetings with cross-functional business and technical teams to gather product requirements and business use cases o Write clear user stories and acceptance criteria by working with leads and developers on technical & functional requirements o Create and manage the product backlog with the Sr. Product Manger o Manage QA by accepting the completed user stories to make sure the work fulfills the criteria o Provide feedback at demos related to product delivery, usability, and functionality, and escalate any discrepancies to Sr. Product Manager to ensure business goals are met o Outline PI Objectives and lead validation efforts with all stakeholders; lead PI planning with Sr. Product Manager o Support creation and management of Product Marketing Materials Accountable for Success of Data Products & Growth o Prepare insights for and participate in conversations with PepsiCo leadership, data partnerships team, as well as technical and business teams o Collaborate with Scrum Master to ensure developers are unblocked for their delivery o Iterate on products, leveraging learnings from prior product builds o COVID-19 vaccination is a condition of employment for this role. Please note that all such company vaccine requirements provide the opportunity to request an approved accommodation or exemption under applicable law Qualifications/Requirements 7+ years of product management with experience executing strategic product roadmaps and working with cross-functional teams in a highly matrixed environment, or relevant experience in a technology function Minimum 2+ years of leadership experience Experience building and launching products from ideation through launch and revision Strong knowledge and experience in agile methodologies, experience working with multiple scrum teams on simultaneous builds Experience managing daily technical and design direction Bachelors Degree, Masters a plus Skills, Abilities, Knowledge: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with the ability to influence and demonstrate confidence in communications with senior level management. Positive and flexible attitude to enable adjusting to different needs in an ever-changing environment. Strong leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills; comfortable managing trade-offs.
