Trust Relationship Manager (TRM) main responsibility is to focus on relationship deepening for existing Citi Trust clients from APAC region.


Role is focused on meeting clients and enhancing client relationships through conducting client reviews and identifying opportunities within existing clients of the Trust Companies. The roles involves travelling to key countries in the region.


TRM will partner with Fiduciary Services Heads, Regional Trust Head and Wealth Planners to deliver high quality services and to coordinate travel plans and client coverage to maximise impact.


**K** **e** **y** **Res** **ponsibi** **l** **i** **t** **i** **e** **s** **:**


+ Setting and communicating relationship deepening goals for Citi Trust for the relevant region/market

+ Manage client development plans and deepening client relationships through enhanced service and client reviews for targeted clients. Specific activities will focus on planning, scheduling, conducting and reporting on:

+ Client Reviews

+ Specific Client Relationship Plans

+ Trust Company Travel within the Region

+ Risk Management resolution


+ Identify product development ideas (including quantification of business impact) from relationship deepening activities

+ Assume ownership and resolution for client issues and risk management challenges

+ Be an proactive product partner to Bankers and Wealth Planners. Focus on adding value to service delivery processes and increasing the visibility of Citi Trust

+ Responsible to coordinate with the Fiduciary Services Heads to ensure the relationship deepening plans are well managed, regional coverage is achieved and goals are met.

+ Will participate/lead monthly coordination meetings providing regular updates (including progress against targets and action plans) to Regional Teams

+ Applying and enforcing the Corporations policies with clients and entities managed by the International Trust Companies.

+ Guide, lead and coach the Fiduciary Services team in significant client matters

+ Assist with complex legal, transactional and accounting problems that arise within the market

+ Raise operational issues within Fiduciary Servicesor with the Trust Region Head

+ Act as an owner and foster solid team work within Fiduciary Services globally and also with other functional teams.

+ Report on and analyse trends and recurring issues to the regional teams. Identify solutions and implement action plans.


**Legal and Regulatory**


+ TRM will contribute to regulatory updates and provide market context where required.

+ Experience in Banking, Legal and Commercial related areas

+ Extensive knowledge of trust law, company law and administrative practice; thorough understand of the competitive environment and industry practices.

+ Proven track record in trust administration and managing business functions on a regional level.

+ Recognised as an expert and is sought after for strategic advice

+ Extensive knowledge of:

+ banking products and investment instruments and how they are used in the overall management and administration of wealth

+ company and trust law and their use in succession planning

+ accounting concepts and their applications

+ Leverages the global capabilities of CPB and Citi.

+ Proactively identifies, anticipates and manages risks

+ Manages the most complex, high profile and ambiguous problems and challenges. Escalates issues.

+ Ability to analyse and evaluate business and client challenges and propose solutions in accordance with general policy and procedural requirements

+ Ability to communicate (verbal and written English) in a concise and coherent manner with attorneys, clients and GMMs/Private Banker

+ Able to convey issues, challenges and opportunities arising in the ordinary course of business

+ Ability to interact, cooperate and resolve issues within Citi Trust globally and the CPB.


**Qu** **a** **li** **f** **i** **cat** **ion** **s** **:**


+ A degree or professional qualification from a recognized university or college in Law, Business, Accounting, or related background


+ Ten to fifteen years or more experience working in Trust, Banking, Legal and Commercial related areas

+ Other languages in either Mandarin, Cantonese, other Asian language will be added value
