**VxRail Software Engineering Senior Manager**


The Software Engineering team delivers next-generation software application enhancements and new products for a changing world. Working at the cutting edge, we design and develop software for platforms, peripherals, applications and diagnostics all with the most advanced technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and the collaboration of internal and external partners.


Join us as a **Software Engineering Manager** on our **VxRail** team in **Taipei** .


**What youll achieve**


As a Software Engineering Manager, you will be working on World Top1 HCI (Hyper Converged Infrastructure) product VxRail with our engineering teams across different BUs & Geos. You are going to manage a software engineering team to develop cutting-edge technologies such as micro service, virtualization/container, edge computing, cloud based management etc. And you will be part of our leadership team to work closely with senior engineering leaders, architects and EPMs. And you will build up good business sense to understand and define the next generation HCI product together with global talents, and to win together with our customers.


**You will:**


Lead team to plan and make high quality delivery, including grooming, design, development, test and customer issue support.


Create and maintain a high performing, engaged team. Care people development as well as release delivery.


Interface with senior management to report on project and program milestones and to present project needs and technical knowledge


Teamwork with peer teams including DEV, QE and Customer escalation to reach biz goal and for customer satisfaction.

**Essential Requirements**


BA/BS or equivalent degree in Computer Science or similar disciplines with 7+ years of work experience with 3+ years team management experience.


Strong background in agile software development, with project management skills.


Experience in Object-Oriented design, Python, Java or Golang with Linux development environment.


Excellent written & verbal communication skills, strong presentation and negotiation skills


Very good Problem solving and analytical skills


**Desirable Requirements**


Micro service knowledge is a plus..


Domain knowledge on Cloud/Virtualization/HCI technology is a plus.
