Scope of Job:
This position oversees the daily box office operations and ticketing at Caesars Entertainment properties. They will work closely with the citywide concierge manager to coordinate and provide concierge and 3 rd party services at the box office. Ensures Caesars Entertainment box office locations offer the best customer experience. Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training and motivating employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; revenue generation; accuracy in accounting, submissions and on sales, inventory management, working with channel partners, reconciling and analyzing data for the purpose of constructing accurate reports and settlements for management and attraction entities.
Essential Job Functions:
Hire and train employees as needed for the Box Office department.
Create and maintain a positive environment in department and administer both positive and corrective coaching (including disciplinary action).
Resolution of guest concerns and satisfaction
Motivate and provide the team sales training and tools to increase number of tickets sold.
Manage a department schedule to efficiently sell Caesars Entertainment attractions and shows, 3 rd party offerings, tours and excursions, and all other ticketing and concierge needs.
Oversee submissions and work directly with Event Creation team for the building and accuracy of the events in the ticketing system and on the accounting side.
Oversee ticket and event reporting and maintain accuracy
Knowledge in accounting procedures, cash handling and reconciliation practices. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
Identify ways of making department more cost effective and ways to increase revenue
Prepare requisitions and reporting for events with respect to admissions revenue, service charge revenue, incremental labor, front of house expenses.
Manage ticketing inventory to maximize sales
Responsible for VIP and executive ticketing
Management of inhouse ticket scanning procedures and equipment
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Maintaining and releasing seating blocks, and event set-up using ticketing system.
Attending leadership classes assigned by company.
Complete special projects as assigned.
