**Job Description:**



The Compensation Consultant will engage with Human Resource Generalists as well as other Compensation professionals to provide diverse analytical and quantitative leadership and support for the design, development and execution of compensation projects, initiatives, and processes. The individual will be responsible for providing Compensation subject matter expertise and consulting to Human Resource and Compensation leaders. The individual in this role will also partner with other members of the GHR Compensation team to lead projects and work-streams.



The successful candidate will be able to:



+ Serve as a subject matter expert on Compensation matters and advise leaders within Human Resources

+ Compiles create and summarize/analyze data clearly and concisely to help drive fact-based decision making.



_Enterprise Role Overview_



_Senior level non-supervisory position or team leader responsible for independently providing high level analytical support to the design and development of complex compensation products that support the strategy for assigned businesses, executives or International clients. Requires deep subject matter expertise. Will directly consult with business managers in the development of these products. Provides coaching to less experienced analysts_ .



**Required Skills**



+ Have 5+ years of Compensation Experience or successful performance in a role with strong analytical focus

+ Advisory and influencing skills must have experience working directly with leaders, advising/consulting with them on HR, Compensation, or related issues

+ Demonstrate the ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information with discretion and maturity

+ Data analysis/quantitative analysis experience and strong analytical and problem-solving skills experience gathering, organizing, analyzing, and presenting large amounts of data clearly and concisely to help make fact-based decisions

+ Have strong MS EXCEL skills (familiar with complex pivot tables, data filtering, lookups)

+ Demonstrate experience creating high impact presentations utilizing PowerPoint and the ability to clearly tell the story with complex underlying data; be able to analyze present-state, and develop alternative future-state approaches

+ Have a project/program management background and the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects with a strong attention to detail

+ Demonstrate a business centric mindset with the ability to utilize sound business judgment and tailor approach to drive optimal business outcomes

+ Have relationship management skills including the ability to interact, communicate and influence peers and partners

+ Be a demonstrated self-starter and a results-oriented professional who can develop and manage relationships across multiple groups

+ Be a team player and display a strong work ethic

+ Demonstrate the ability to grasp a comprehensive understanding of Compensation issues and priorities; effectively analyze and diagnose problems; provide clear advice and recommendations to help make sound business decisions



**Desired Skills**



+ Familiarity with Bank of America HR Systems a plus

+ Experience with Compensation analytics a plus

+ Experience working in a Financial reporting environment
