**Job Summary**


Background: Confluence Unity is Citis platform of choice for the production of Financial Statements for investment funds managed by its institutional clients.


We are looking for a Financial Administration Senior Analyst/Assistant Vice-President to help lead process improvement initiatives and onboardings of new clients/ functionality as well as assist with cycle support. The expectations and skills required for a role in this key team are listed below:


+ Act as Confluence Unity system Subject Matter Expert supporting the financial reporting team based in North America

+ Prepare & maintain maps, tables & business data functions (BDFs) in Unity to generate Financial Statements used for SEC filings such as Annual/Semi-Annual reports, for new and existing clients

+ Work with Operational teams for testing and sign off

+ Focus on transparency, timely escalation, cross-site collaboration, collating and sharing lessons learned

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create custom reports for other reporting where possible

+ Suggest areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions

+ Create detailed business requirements documents, as needed, liaising with end-users & Tech partners or external vendors

+ Plan, prepare and execute testing of the enhancements (UAT & PROD) with relevant stakeholders

+ Perform regression testing, flag issues with testing in a timely manner and track them to closure

+ Lead training sessions to increase the teams knowledge and provide pre-/post-implementation support

+ Help manage a production support process to resolve issues identified by the operational teams

+ Serve as the primary contact for clients; respond proactively to internal and external client inquiries

+ Demonstrate an advanced understanding of investment types, mutual funds, ETFs and financial markets

+ Identify and/or implement process improvements to reduce risk and improve efficiency

+ Manage department/client onboarding/improvement projects and initiatives

+ Participate in department committees and other initiatives


**Qualifications**


Job Specifications:


+ Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or business-related area or equivalent work experience

+ 5-7 years experience in the registered investment company or financial services industry

+ Experience in a technical system support role advantageous, particularly experience working with Confluence Financial Reporting platform

+ Fund accounting / Financial Reporting for hedge funds or mutual funds

+ Business Analyst / UAT Tester experience

+ Experience with FIS InvestOne fund accounting platform, including MBOR and OLE functionality, is a plus

+ Advanced experience working with Microsoft Office applications required, specifically Excel

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills to foster client and internal relationships

+ Willingness to work outside of normal work hours when necessary, particularly during peak financial reporting cycles

+ Escalate issues timely and appropriately to senior management

+ Oversee projects effectively

+ Motivated to continuous self-improvement

+ Ability to promote a positive working environment and influence others to embody the Citi culture
