Global Risk & Compliance Technology, Director - Policy, Risk & Controls within GRCT is a Director level position who will take a leadership role to own and manage GFT wide enterprise risk management, internal controls, or a data governance program commensurate with the Banks size, complexity, and risk profile. In this role the person will:
Global Functions Technology (GFT) is responsible for delivering Technology solutions to Citi's Global Functions organizations. The Global Risk & Compliance Technology Group (GRCT) within GFT supports a diverse range of business partners such as Risk Governance, Compliance Risk, CCB and BCMA Risk, Retail Risk, Internal Audit, Operational Risk, Model Risk and OTRC. The Risk Governance area within GRCT is responsible for developing technology solutions for Risk & Controls functions in line with the heightened standards set for the organization.
This leader will **manage a potential team of 30 to 70 resources** covering a budget range of $4-$10MM. The ideal person will have prior experience providing leadership and oversight of Risk & Controls area for a large financial organization, develop cost efficient strategies for Risk platform consolidation to ensure consistent process and reduced operating costs. To be successful in this role, the candidate should have **significant experience and a track record of planning and executing SaaS implementations encompassing enterprise-wide digitization** , offering complex rollouts with Straight through Processing and coordination of global risk platform development effort spanning multiple regions. The person should be a global subject matter expert for _technology evolution_ , functionality, business, and process related expertise. The role will manage stakeholder and executive level sponsor expectations, as well responsible for defining program resource requirements and serves as the key day-2-day operational interface between all program stakeholders. The incumbent will be responsible for reporting on the health and overall program effort with sound metrics and analytics.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Lead & Guide transformational Risk & Controls initiatives in a complex dynamic environment, contributing to the overall outcomes, definition, scoping, design, and delivery; ensuring effective business controls are established and maintained
+ Guide the technology and architectural direction of Enterprise solutions and capabilities.
+ Partner and manage cross-functional teams to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive digital channel solution delivery
+ Experience with driving agile development methodology into adoption in Commercial Bank technology team
+ Accountable for completion of all project deliverables within program and ensures completion and communication of Risk mitigation plans, critical path and dependencies, project recovery and business continuity plans
**Specific Responsibilities**
+ Develop enterprise-wide Policy and Risk management standards, and frameworks to adequately identify, measure, monitor, and control risks.
+ Identify & remediate Policy and Risk governance related data deficiencies, including data quality errors and failure to produce timely and accurate management and regulatory reporting.
+ Develop a central platform for Enterprise-wide policies, enabling standardization and alignment of policies, standards, and their codified procedures to Citis Risk & Controls environment.
+ Integrate third party platform/s with Citi solutions offering linkages to Citi systems issues & corrective actions, control assessments, regulation inventory, and other Citi tools
+ Understand company and client challenges to build solutions in line with the programs AI strategy. Integrate external vendor AI/ ML capabilities to create robust document management solution.

+ 15+ years of senior technology leadership experience
+ 10+ years of experience with financial products
+ 10+ years of software delivery management experience
+ Working experience of partnering with Program Management Office and Business stakeholders
+ Working experience of managing large delivery teams
+ Working knowledge of the industry and competitors products and services
+ Demonstrated leadership, management, and development skills
+ Experience planning, executing, and implementing large scale cloud-based implementations in an enterprise-wide digitization offering.
