Find your paradise at Marathon Courtyard Resort in the Florida Keys, offering 83 rooms and 12 suites. This hotel is conveniently located on the Florida Bay in Marathon, offering easy access to the area's top destinations, including Aquarium Encounters, Big Pine Key and Key West. We offer a well-equipped fitness center; on-site dining for breakfast, dinner and cocktails; and an outdoor infinity pool with hot tubs and a tiki bar.
The ideal candidate will have successful management abilities in the hospitality industry. The general manager must be able to prioritize and organize work assignments, while providing clear direction to staff and ascertaining hotel training needs when necessary. It is imperative that the General Manager motivate associates and maintain a cohesive team while specializing in exceptional guest satisfaction. We are seeking a detail-oriented and capable manager who can confidently enforce the excellence of hotel standards, policies and procedures in accordance with Shaner and franchise, as well as become a visible leader in the local community.
High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred. A minimum of five years of progressive hospitality leadership experience is required, including experience in food and beverage operations. Excellent people management and problem resolution skills. Superior guest satisfaction skills. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of hospitality financials, reporting requirements and industry measurements. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
